Sighing, he clenched his hands together and ground his teeth in annoyance. The memories that were playing inside his head gave him so much stress.
'I... am infatuated with the Crown Prince?' He asked himself in distress.
'Oh my goodness.' He groaned again. This seems like one of those novels he had read back at home where the main character from another world dies and gets transmigrated in a historical-themed story with the cliche plot of the original owner of the body severely desperate in seeking the favor of someone who doesn't love them back.
Deciding that he should sort things out first, he started to write a mental note of the facts that he acquired from the memories.
'First and foremost, my name is Pier Alexander Belmiunde, the only child of Lady Antoinette and Headmaster Ronnovian!' He wanted to bite his fingernails as the anxiety flooded his system yet with how beautiful the hands looked, the urge suddenly disappeared.
He stared at himself once more in the mirror when the door suddenly opened and an old-looking butler came in.
"Young Master Pier, Headmaster Ronnovian had been waiting since earlier. Please get ready and immediately head to the dining room," he said before walking out as if Pier did not exist and he merely talked to the wind.
'What an asshole' Pier glared at the man who did not even bat an eye.
He needs to keep himself collected
Opening his dresser, he started looking for suitable clothes that he can wear. Since he had already grasped the fashion sense people in this world had, he knew what to pick based on the memories but disappointment came running inside his soul as the bright colors of different suits greeted him.
'What the fuck, even I who barely grasped the entirety of this world knows how to style myself!' Pier glared at the unmatched suit colors that were too bright for his own liking.
He guessed the original Pier liked being the center of attention as he scanned the wardrobe and his eyes caught a glimpse of a simple suit that is at the furthest corner of the wardrobe.
Grabbing the suit, he looked at the mirror while trying to identify whether it was enough for him to go outside and not be made fun of again.
The caramel-colored casual wear he had on was not too bright nor was it too dull to be out of fashion and he looked good. Pier sighed as a small amount of contentment echoed within his chest. 'Definitely better than the ones he wore on a daily basis.'
After changing his night wears into a comfortable suit, Pier went out of the room and immediately started walking towards the dining room. He followed the direction as he remembered in Pier's memory.
As two maids stood outside the door that leads to the dining room, he cannot help but feel anxious about what lies beyond that thick piece of finely carved wood. The intricate patterns adorned in the wood scream elegance and beauty.
The maids then opened the door for him. The large table composed of twelve seats greeted him. A not-so-old man was sitting at the opposite end of the table while a woman was beside him. Based on Pier's memory, the woman was not his mother but rather his father's second wife after Lady Antoinette passed away when she gave birth to him.
The woman sitting next to his father was previously his secret affair but when his mother died, she became his official wife and their secret kids became his official children.
'I'm not having a good feeling right now. Ugh.'
Next to his stepmother were two younger males casually talking with his father. 'Damn, that felt weird. I guess I should call him father for now, too.' Pier grimaced.
