Akaashi x Reader

I'm sorry

He leaned against the wall as his breaths were short and puffs of smoke came out. He had just ran about a mile or so non stop into a dark alley. Tears were running down his cheeks as he desperately tried to keep his self together, which was very hard.

"I have polio"

His eyes shoot open as he grabs his ears and cries out your name.

"I'm sorry"

He regrets rushing out the hospital like that, leaving you there without warning.

"But-"

He should've heard what you were going to say after that, but it was too much to take in.

"Keiji!" He could hear you say as he ran down the hall, and then there was a crash, Bokuto called out his name as he was calling out (f/n)'s name as well.

"Ms. (L/n)!" The nurse shouted.

Sure, polio wasn't a such a bad disorder, but (f/n) was a cancer survivor in the past, and the doctors have told her that it was possible for her to have cancer once again, or another disorder.

And the time has finally come.

Polio.

Akaashi was someone who wouldn't show his emotions very easily, so it must've been a shock for you to see him like that.

Standing up, he decides to man up, and meet you again, with your favorite flowers and sweets to make you happy, like he did before when you were kids.

"I'm sorry"

A/n : It's a bit sad, I know, I was listening to "Just a little bit of your heart" by Ariana Grande {she is my queen ✴︎ • ✴︎} I'm actually in Advanced chorus at my school and we're going to sing for a basketball team in a week or so. (Airs on TV) But I can't go since I have a dance competition ;-;
But the week after that, we get to sing at this other huge place where professional orchestra, band, or choir get to sing. IMSOEXCITEDYAASSSS lol
