Jaida gave up on the thought that her friend could wake up. Anytime soon at least. Her visits to the hospital became little until they became none. Her usual cheerful composure became the opposite. It was unlike her and both Fabian and Zidan noticed.

"You're not the one with the dead best friend." She yelled at the two boys for their pitiful concern.

Zidan started to run her little fantasy through his mind and it kept him up all night. Maybe it could work. He also remembered his mother said that 'majority of those who get off life support go within a week if they don't wake up.' It was day three going day four.

Day four he placed a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room. Nothing changed, no movements apart from the slow rise and fall from her chest as she breathed.

He would be lying to himself if he said he didn't feel attracted to her in the slightest bit. He did like her a lot. If jaida's theory could be somewhat true he would try it out on day three. When it came to the last day anyone here had gone.

Day two came along and he dread the day that followed. He hadn't told anyone what he knew but on day two he shot a message over to Fabian.

His mother found it weird for him to come to work with her six days in a row. She followed him at one point to see him enter Zuriella's room.

"What'd I tell you about going into patients' rooms, especially Green's." She said, folding her arms at the door.

"I didn't wonder." He replied to her never letting his eyes leave Zuriella's body.

"Who is this girl anyway?"

"She's the one who was in the car with me when it crashed. She's on day six." He informed her.

"Day si- oh. If she doesn't wake up during the night I don't think she'll make it." His mother answered, clasping her hand between her knees.

"Oh." He said getting up from his chair.

"Why are you still here anyway, it's after nine." She asked, looking at him.

"Didn't feel like going home." He responded stretching his arms.

"She's a strong girl if she made it this far, she just needs a miracle or some fairytale prince Charming to kiss her." She said laughing at the last part.

As she breathed her lungs felt they were out of breath. She was in the field once again but this time she could move but not speak. A lady appeared to her dress in white

"Zuriella, wake up Precious."  The lady said brushing her cheek.

Y'all sorry for not updating. I have exams coming up in less 2 weeks plus this diagnostic test this week plus I want to enter wattys 2021 and the word limit is 50000 I'm at 6k smth so far. I'll try to update every 2 weeks or every week. I'll tell you when I publish the new book I want to enter tho, I'm at chapter 4. I also didn't update cause I felt it was weird to kiss an unconscious person.
