Mom wasn't home as usual so I made sure to call her and make sure she was okay before going upstairs to change my clothes.

Now more comfortable I attempted to figure out the assignments I had to complete over the weekend.

For it being the 3rd week of school it was ridiculous the amount of work I already had to do. I looked down at the list of assignments contemplating to do them now or later.

If I do it now then I can have the rest of the weekend off but, if I do it later then I can start my weekend early.

Now it's obvious that I'm going to choose the most effective option that will benefit me the most.

Do it later.

I've come to terms with the fact that homework is a problem for future me. Present me doesn't have to worry about that.

I dig in my bag for my phone and check to see that I had a few unread messages.

Someone named Aria

Someone named Aria - So when are you going to tell me

Me - Never :)

Mom

Mom - Make sure to eat and clean up the kitchen

Me - I can make no promises

Me - Maybe I will maybe I won't

Me- Jk jk jk just kidding it's just a joke

Mom- Well I'm not asking you, I'm telling you. Don't let me come home and see it any other way

Mom - Love you

Me - Love you :(

Sean

Sean - Hey

Me -

I look back at the phone again to check and see if the name was correct.

Sean

Oh shit

Oh fuck

Oh shit

Oh fuck

Oh shitfuck.

Why?

What?

How?

Huh?

*ring ring, ring ring*

I look down to see my phone buzzing in my hand, a FaceTime call with Aria's name lighting up the screen.

"This is not the time" I whisper scream out loud.

I angrily look at my phone again before answering it, deciding not to fight with myself.

Aria's face lights up my screen as she looks at me with one eyebrow raised. "Ready to spill."

I'm silent for a moment before I cave. "Sean texted me" I blurt out suddenly.
