10 Facts About Me

Tagged a while back by @KatherineArlene, I finally decided to do it...

     

1. I love cats. I can have entire conversations with my cat (yes, conversations, as in he talks back). I even tend to show cat-like behaviour and make cat sounds (from saying "meow" to get attention, to purring when I am pleased).

2. I love horror. I have always loved it, so much so even that when I was little I didn't want Prince Charming... No, I wanted Beetlejuice >_> I used to watch horror movies with my dad, until we watched the Grudge... He had nightmares and no longer wanted to watch them with me O:-)

3. I think of myself as quite a spiritual person.  I used to call myself a wiccan, but over the years I went my own way. I do however still wear a pentagram. Also, yes: I believe in ghosts. 

4. I love to drink herbal teas. I tried to drink coffee during my bachelor, but even with more sugar and milk than coffee, I just wasn't able. I guess I am happy now that I never learned to drink it, because I am one of the few people that can still function when the coffee machine at work is dead =P

5. I work full-time as a research technician (40 hours a week). I help develop vaccines (so if I hear someone say "vaccines cause autism" prepare for a rant).

6. I love playing computer games. I played WoW from vanilla to cataclysm before I quit, and lots of other games. My all time favourite game is Nox, but Age of Mythology is also still a very good game.

7. I am married. I met my husband back in 2005 at an anime party, I had my first kiss that same day, and our relationship was official 2 days later. Yes, love at first sight exists and it can result in a long lasting relationship :3

8. I don't do make-up. I seriously hate that stuff and haven't used any since high school. (I only ever used lipstick and eye-shadow, but when I found out my husband dislikes it I gladly stopped using it (the eye-shadow never stayed on for a full day and the lipstick would be gone within like 1 hour.) When it comes to other women, I prefer them also to not wear make-up (I think they look prettier without an inch of chemicals on their faces), though I don't mind eye-liner, mascara and eye-shadow. 

9. I prefer fruit and veggies over candy. Seriously, give me sweet corn, grapes or a melon ♥ Though I do like Cadbury chocolate :3 (Flake & Twirl) 

10. I am however not a vegetarian, though I do prefer my meats to come from animals that had a good life. I seriously love a good steak so much, I will even eat it raw...
