The UA kids waiting downstairs had expanded to Shoji and Mineta as well as the first three. But things were quiet for a long time.

Finally, Jiro looked up. "Someone's outside," she said, "I think it's them."

The facts of the matter were, Shine and Wally had been back at the campus in under an hour and a half. The meeting really hadn't taken that long, but they'd sat outside to discuss it... well away from where the cameras usually were. They didn't want to risk a kid waking up and hearing them talk inside-- perhaps some vague premonition on their part.

So when they actually came in, almost soundlessly, they were surprised to find 5 people waiting for them... well 4; Mineta chickened out and hid in the kitchen. He thought they might get angry with the students.

Shine and Wally stared at them all. Only one lamp was on, so the lighting wasn't too good in the large space. Momo gave them concerned glances, but the others were more hostile-- or unreadable, in Shoji's case.

"Well... there went that..." Wally muttered, "So much for stealth skills. It was always more Batman's thing anyway."

"Hi... guys..." Shine said, "Why are you all up?"

"Don't you try that. Where were you?" Jiro asked.

"Outside. We were sitting outside," Shine said, "Which you would've known if you'd come out and looked, but you're not supposed to break curfew."

"Neither are you," Shoji said, "and, if our ears are correct, you were not outside the whole time, were you? At least not close to the dorms."

"Well, yes, we were outside the whole time," Wally said, with a sideways grin.

 Shine nodded.

"I bet you two were making out!" Mineta cried. Now that the first was over, he was looking out of the kitchen. "Or worse! Mr. Aizawa will kill you!"

"Mineta, get your mind out of the gutter," Shine said, "if at all possible. I know I'm asking a lot from you, but still. And it's none of your business even if we were that type of couple, so it's kind of sick to ask about it."

"I don't care about that," Jiro said, "If that's all you were up to, but I don't think you were. You look dressed to go off campus."

Shine and Wally exchanged a glance. "Well, we're no liars," Shine said, "and we're not rats, either. So what do you want us to say?"

"The truth," Shoji said, "Are you breaking the rules?"

"We're not breaking our rules," Shine said, "but I suppose, if there was a rule about it here, we'd be breaking it. I'm not sure there is. We tend to be exempt from it. Not a lot of people include DJs in their list of designated people who can and cannot do things...."

"What about as UA staff members?" Jiro pressed.

"Well, we're not official, you know," Shine said, "I really don't think the rules apply to us as much."

"That's just another way of saying you did break them," Bakugo stood up, "We should report this to Aizawa."

"Agreed," Jiro said.

Wally looked at Shine like: "Your call."

Shine shrugged. "Go ahead," she said, walking towards the hall, "Report us, then."

Pause.

"That's it? No threat?" Shoji said.

"You want us to threaten you?" Shine turned to give him a rather strangely unsettling look, like she was daring him to play that game with her.
