Chapter 2

Vanessa's Pov

It was now lunch time and i was walking to the caffeteria to find Chad. Am still worried of what happened before..who was that guy Chad was with..he seemed dangerous..with all the tattoos..Chad is hiding something from me..but i want him to tell me when he wants to...i don't want to force him to tell me. I entered the cafeteria and instantly found our table. I went there and took a seat but Chad wasnt here yet..should i search for him? I looked around the cafeteria and saw that at the door which i came from was the guy from before..Jason..and he was looking straight at me..was he looking for Chad? I got up and went up to him, opened the door and exited the cafeteria.

"Jason, was it?" i said as i went near him. He nodded but not saying anything. He smelled of cigarettes and another smell i couldn't quite catch. "Are you looking for Chad? He isnt here yet.." i said. He was wearing a black leather jacket..and jeans with supras..his style basically screamed badass..and danger.. now that i look at his outfit again..is..is that white powder on his jacket? He drew me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah am here to see Chad..we didn't finish the chat we started before...do you know where he is?" he asked. I nodded not quite listening to what he was saying. My mind was still stuck on the white powder. I reached out and dusted it off of him but made sure to keep some on my finger.

"There..you had some dust on you" i said and laughed awkwardly then looked at the ground.

"Weeeeellllll, do you know where he is?" he asked. Wait..did he ask me that again?

"Oh errrr no sorry..i'll tell him you were searching for him though..if you want.." i said feeling awkward again.

"No need to tell him..am going to search for him again soon" he said and turned around then began walking away. The door to the cafeteria opened behind me so i turned around when I heard my name.

"Vanessa?" a male voice asked. Specifically..my brother's voice, Kian's.

"Yes?" I asked.

"What's wrong? Who was that guy?" my brother asked.

"Nothing's wrong..he was looking for Chad..so I told him that he wasnt here yet..that's all" I explained.

"Ok..just don't hang with people like that ok? It's not safe" He said.

"Do you know him Ki? What does he do..what business does he have with Chad?.." I asked. He shook his head.

"It's not my place to tell you Ness..but i'll have a talk with Chad about this..whatever business he has with that kid he souldn't bring you in the middle of it" he said. I sighed..there we go again.

"Ki he didn't bring me into it..the guy just met me in the morning and I came up to him now.." I explained once again. Just then we heard footsteps and Chad came into view. "Hey baby..where were you, you ok?" was the first thing that came out of my mouth. He nodded.

"Yeah am ok, just a teacher held me longer" he said. I nodded.

"Hmmm also..the guy..Jason from earlier today came by mow looking for you..I told him that you weren't here yet" I informed him.

"Ok...i'll talk to him later..lets go eat babe?" he asked and I nodded smiling up at him.

"You two go ahead..I will catch up to you in 2 minutes ok?" I asked and started going down the hallway towards the girl's bathrooms.

"Ok..just don't be late ok babe? And be careful" Chad said. I smiled and modded. As I was going down the hallway I heard my brother say to Chad 'Look..Chad..I know you love my sister and I accept that..but whatever is going on with you..and Jason..has to stop..or at least don't bring my sister in the middle of this ok? If I learn that that guy has hurt even a hair on her head..am gonna kill him..and then you're next..protect her with your life Chad..and don't let that kid near her..he's no good' I sighed..my typical brother..always threatening..you don't want to get on his bad side. I continued my way down the hallway and entered the girl's bathroom then locked the door behind me. I brought slowly the hand that I used to clean Jason's jacket to my nose and sniffed. My eyes widen...There's nonway.. No..it can't be..Is it..some kind of.. of...
