Ash and Serena both cautiously leaned in. Their noses barely touching one another. Their eyes were shining with love and lust. But then, Serena suddenly pulled herself back. She looked at herself as she was still in just a bra and panties, all but exposed to her crush. Speaking of her crush, the raven-haired teenager's bandaged torso wasn't making the situation any better.

Serena took a deep breath and looked straight into Ash's auburn-colored eyes. They were reminiscent of her favorite chocolate and the color of maple syrup.

"I'm sorry, Ash." Serena apologized. "I can't do this. I'm not ready to give up my body yet. Especially after what just happened..."

Ash sighed and gave Serena a sad, yet understanding look. The aura-wielding yandere turned away momentarily before turning back to face her. "Yeah... I wasn't expecting you to anyways,"

He handed Serena her clothes, fedora, and signature blue ribbon, then looked away to respect her privacy. While Serena was fixing her clothes, Ash placed his black undershirt and blue jacket back on his body in order to cover up his bandaged injuries. There was no doubt in his mind that everyone would question how he got a stab wound if they saw it.

After Serena put on the finishing touches to her appearance, she looked at the raven-haired teenager. She was sad that Ash had already covered up his body with clothes. She wouldn't mind seeing his toned abs and chest some more.

"Ash..." Serena said, but trailed off. Perhaps she could finally confess her feelings to the boy? Yes, she should. After all, she just saved her from rape. She sighed before continuing, "How about a compromise?"

The raven-haired teenager looked up at Serena, tilting his head slightly. "A compromise?"

The honey-blonde girl slowly nodded. Inside her mind, she was very nervous about her idea. Would Ash even accept it? He should, right? Judging from what he just did in the past hour. Serena felt her chest tightening and her heart beating at a quicker pace. Oh Arceus, this is nerve-racking.

There was silence between them. However, Ash interrupted the silence as he spoke again.

"A compromise?" Ash repeated. He was curious about what Serena would be referring to.

"W-will... will you be my boyfriend?" Serena asked with a hopeful look in her blue cerulean eyes. She blushed a dark crimson red at this and averted her gaze.

Ash, on the other hand, was nearly frozen the moment he heard Serena finish speaking. His thoughts suddenly started to overwhelm him. What did Serena just say? Did She feel the same way? Was all this murder and jealousy completely unnecessary?

Serena felt a couple of fingers under her chin, gently lifting it up. She offered no resistance to the action. She found her cerulean-blue colored eyes meeting with Ash's auburn-brown colored ones. Her whole body became stiff with anticipation as she awaited Ash's answer.

"Serena..." Ash spoke, in an almost whisper-like voice. "I... I would be honored to be your boyfriend."

The moment those words left her raven-haired crush's mouth, Serena began tearing up with sheer happiness and joy. She felt as if she was on cloud nine. Without hesitation, Serena leaned in and pushed her face towards Ash's, pressing their lips tightly together. Ash quickly reciprocated.

The newly formed couple sealed their relationship with a kiss.

After a few long passionate moments, the couple separated for air. They looked at each other with blushes on their cheeks. This was what they always wanted. This is what Ash strove for. All the lies, the murders, the secrets... it was all worth it for him.
