Y/N: ❝Tell me, when did you suddenly become so nice to me? At the last meeting in the karaoke bar, when I first saw you and stopped me, you were quite rude. How come?❞

You both walked on the white stairs. Jake clasped his hands behind his back. He turned his right eye in your direction, but his whole face was not directed at you, but straight ahead.

Jake: ❝Just don't get used to it. I only do it because it's part of being nice to a guest who has just arrived. Even if being nice is not my greatest strength.❞ He told, stopped as he spoke, turned around and had a serious look on his face.

❝Oh yes, what I wanted to tell you is that it is very dangerous for people like you here in the Mension, so don't walk around at night. If you do, you're out of luck.❞ Turned back around and kept walking as he said that.

You were quite perplexed at his answer.
Y/N: ❝Honestly, what should happen in the night? The other boy told me the same, so you don't have to repeat it. I realize that you are all vampires and need the blood to stay alive, but do you really have to do that? Don't you think it's rude to just drink a stranger's blood?❞

Jake stopped again and was very annoyed at your attitude, knitted his eyebrows together as he was screaming mentally.
Jake: ❝I can imagine how many times you said that to my brothers when they approached you. I don't see why I should consider that rude. If vampires need blood, they can take it from anyone. Then why ask first and then drink? That is stupid. ❞

You thought about it for a while. He was right, but still that's not right. When you think about how many innocent people have to die for this and that, just because vampires need blood. That is really sad.

Y/N: ❝Personally I still don't think it's right, isn't there another solution?❞

Jake: ❝Yes, there are solutions, for example if you shut your mouth.❞

❝And here is your room Y/N. I hope you like it.❞ He said and was about to turn around, but you grabbed him by the shoulder.

"How rude. Did he really say that I should shut up? No, not with me."

Y/N: ❝Wait, before you go, I'd like to ask you a question. I hope that's okay. If not, that's fine too.❞ You said to him.

He turned to your direction.
Jake: ❝Yes, of course, go ahead.❞

At first you hesitated because you weren't sure, but then asked him anyway. Y/N: ❝Why are you doing this? I can't believe vampires like you exist. You know, don't want to be mean but you guys only bring suffering to people.❞ You said to him, while your angry gaze stared through his eyes.

When you said that, Jake clenched his fists.
Jake: ❝Come here. I can't believe a sassy girl like you gave permission to live here.❞ He said and grabbed you by the clothes.

When he grabbed you, you acted quickly and retreated. You took the knife out from under your skirt, tried to put it around his neck, but he was faster and grabbed your arm in a flash, causing your knife to fall on the floor.

His angry gaze was piercing trough your soul.
Jake: ❝You can't fool me that easily. I know the trick. It doesn't work on me. Let me guess, you probably used this cheap trick on my brothers too if I'm not mistaken?❞

"He's pretty strong. The way he squeezes my hand with his firm grip, as if I were a piece of bread."
