"Hey, guys." I said to Rachel and Kurt as they approached me as I was walking down the hallway. "So, have you thought about which performing arts school in New York you're going to yet?" Kurt asked as he locked his arm with mines.
"No, not yet." I responded. "How about Juilliard? Kurt and I are applying there and you definitely have the grade point average for it." Rachel suggested. "Plus, it would be nice for all three of us to go there." Kurt added.
"That is a really good school. Okay, I'm in." I smiled. "Great, let's go to Ms. Pillsbury so we can go get our application fee waiver." Rachel smiled as she locked her arm with mines.
Once we entered our guidance counselors office, the three of us sat down in the chairs that were laid out in front of her desk. "We have an important announcement to make." Kurt told the older woman.
"I thought this day might come. Really, this is the only dating combination that the Glee Club hasn't tried." Ms. Pillsbury smiled and I busted out laughing. "We're not dating. Kurt is a gay man." I laughed.
"Jennie, Kurt, and I will be auditioning for Juilliard, the nation's premiere performing arts school." Rachel announced. "That's a very good plan, guys. It's fabulous. Except Juilliard doesn't have a musical theatre department." The older woman informed us.
"Wait, what?" Kurt questioned. "Have you guys thought about somewhere closer to home? Kent State has a wonderful musical theatre program." Ms. Pillsbury offered and I shook my head. "I'm not going to any school in the midwest." I said bluntly.
"It's bad enough I've been in this close-minded ass county for two years. I would rather go to a school back at home to New Zealand." I added.
