It was quiet up here, no sound of engines in cars, too high for the birds to reach. The sound of a thousand footsteps from passerbyers, something that doesn't exist. The edge of the building like a small little heaven or as others might say, the quiet before the storm. Unlike the rest, I knew what was about to happen, only I knew that everyone had a few minutes to live, only a few minutes to kiss and hug your loved ones, minutes to say your sorry, minutes to say goodbye. I find it sad that all the beautiful nature is about to disappear, the lush forests full of birds and animals about to burn to the ground, oceans full of fish and sea creatures about to suffocate. The humans full of intelligence and the brilliance to make technology are about to be wiped out, now I'm not sad about that, humans deserve to burn for what they did to my beautiful planet, but for the animals to suffer is just a tragedy, but the world needs to be reset. So as I sit here on this edge, watching as the world countries move, not knowing what's about to happen, I smile, something new is about to arise and hopefully this time they don't disappoint me.
