I took a sip of alcohol as I kept staring at the clock next to my bestfriend who was wiping the wine glasses carefully.

"It's been years now, Y/n. You really thought he would wait for you?" S/he asked

"NoO~" I said

Lies. I thought that he would wait. He promised.

My bestfriend finished cleaning the bar and prepared her/his things.

"Let's go." S/he said

"You go first, I'm gonna go somewhere." I said

"Let me take you."

"No no.. it's okay. I just need time for myself." I said

"Okay! Get home safely!" S/he said and gave me a smile then left

I grabbed an extra bottle of soj* and left the bar.

I walk around the streets seeing people's expressions who are hurrying back to their homes so they could rest.

As I kept roaming around, I found a bench that made me think about the memories that I made with him in the past.

I could already tell I was so drunk from my wiggly legs.

I rush to sit down on the bench, and opened the bottle of soj*

I took a big gulp and hissed at the bitter taste.

I stared at the bench for moment and ...

Flashback

I sat down on a bench and continued reading the book on my hands.

I was so focused that I felt that everything around me never existed. It was like I was floating in paradise.

Suddenly, I felt something tickly on my shoulder.

There was a huge bug!

I was super scared because it was already inches away from my face.

I was screaming inside..

I carefully closed my eyes wishing it would fly away. But I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry, it's gone." A voice said

I opened my eyes and to my surprise, I didn't expect someone would remove the bug away from my shoulder and I didn't expect it would be him.

"T-thank you." I said

His eyes went up to my hair and saw something.

"Wait," he said and moved closer to me

Our faces were super close that I couldn't look at him in the eye.

It was like the world stopped. I slowly move my eyes to look at his facial features.

He was absolutely perfect.

He looked back at me and I felt uncomfortable..

"Uhmm.."

"Oh! I'm sorry, there was a leaf on top of your hair" he said and placed his hand on the nape of his neck

"You're the new student right?" He asked

I nodded then he smiled.

"I'm Jake!" He said and offered his hand for a handshake
