Thursday afternoon finally rolled around, meaning Eren was finally going to see Y/N again. Even though it has been two days since he met her, all he could think about was her. His goal was to get to lab early so that he could have some time to talk to her before class started. He checked the time on his phone and saw that he had exactly 30 minutes before lab started so he quickly made his way to the science building. When Eren reached the door to the molecular biology lab, he let out a sigh of relief as he saw Y/N sitting at the same exact spot she was in on Tuesday. She looked up from her laptop at the sound of the door and gave Eren a small smile.

"Hey, beautiful."

Her smile faltered and she looked back down to her laptop, "Stop calling me that..." Y/N wasn't sure how much of this she could handle.

"But why? I'm only speaking the truth."

"And I'm not falling for any of your advances."

"Can't I just say hi to a pretty girl?" He said as he made his way to the chair next to Y/N's

"Shut it, Eren."

He chuckled and took a seat peering over at her screen, "Whatcha looking at?"

"Cell bio notes... I have a "pop" quiz tomorrow." She made quotation marks with her fingers and sighed.

"You, know... I still can't believe you decided to take both molec and cell in one semester." Eren shook his head and rested one arm on the lab bench so that he could face her.

"Yeah, neither can I..."

"So why did you do it, then? You could've just taken cell over the summer. The school offers the course during that time."

Y/N sighed and gave Eren a quick glance, "I went to a small college that had both as a combined course..." She hesitated for a bit before continuing, "When I transferred here, though... I couldn't transfer the course over, hence why I'm taking both now. Also, I already have other classes in mind for the summer like calculus and physics." Y/N was only telling Eren part of the truth. When Y/N was at her previous college, she ended up not doing well in her class and decided to withdraw. Rather than being a semester behind on her biology courses, she decided to bite the bullet and take both. Y/N really wants to get into medical school, so she has to try her absolute hardest—that means no slacking off and definitely no boys.

"Damn... that really sucks, sorry to hear that..." Eren looked at her apologetically, "I'm here If you need help with studying or anything."

"It's okay... it's not your fault. Every school's different right? And really? Thanks, Eren."

Eren hummed, "Still though... and it's no problem!! Also, are you planning to take physics 1 and 2 during the summer?"

"And calc 1 and 2."

"So four classes... wow—I guess I'll be looking forward to the summer then," Eren smirked.

"What? Why?" She looked at him confused.

"I'm also planning to take physics 1 and 2. On top of that, we've got our research study, looks like we'll be spending a lot of time together, Y/N." Eren crossed his arms and gave her a smug grin.

She rolled her eyes and gave him a pointed look, "I just can't get rid of you, can I?"

"Nope. Deal with it, beautiful. Us pre-med students gotta stick together."

"You're so annoying." She mumbled and looked away from him.

"I get that a lot," Eren said in a matter-of-fact tone.
