Hey loves. So today let's get to know each other shall we?
I do have some important stuff to say about my name so let's get into it.

My name:

Okay, hear me out on this one. Read entirely.<3

My real name is Diotima. Yes. But I go by my pen name Esther here because I do have a reason and it's explained here.

{I have had a terrible, terrible past (we'll talk about that in another update) and I've been very close to giving up. I was barely hanging on by a thread. But something in me didn't want to give up. I was desparate to find a single reason to live and I knew I was going to get one. I Just had to hold on.

(Stream Just hold on because that was one of the songs that kept me going.)

So one day, I decided to give myself a new identity ( I still go by my real name irl but it's for on my socials) so I gave myself a name, Esther.

And you wouldn't believe the change it made. I felt like I was a whole different person.

Confident, strong, enough.

And I cried so much the day I chose this because it felt THAT overwhelming.

It made me feel like wanna restart my life and hence, I got up from the mess and started getting my life together. I started taking care of myself and got into a more positive mindset.

I wanted to create something new. So, I decided to write my book (AFFINITY).

And just this name, it changed my whole life making me the person I am today.

I decided to stop being the victim of my situation and started building my strength. My life gave me a lot of pain, but it made me stronger and kinder.

I did not let life break me, instead I turned it around into something better and I can finally Say I'm proud I did that.

I am never saying that giving yourself another name will make you feel better, I'm just saying that's what helped me.

So do whatever the hell makes you happy. Because at the end of the day, all you have is you!}

I know a lot of you have gone through a lot more than me and I just want to say how proud I am of you and how much I love and appreciate you. You deserve the world, baby. You deserve everything good that comes your way. <3
