"Hi, everyone." JBI said as he struggled to keep up with Winnie and just the sound of his voice was enough to make her want to barf. "It's prom minus six days here at McKinley, and today I'm joined by Sophomore Prom Queen candidate, Winnie Archer."

"Hi." Winnie smiled gently, trying to look as pretty as she could while refraining her need to punch JBI in the face.

"So, Winnie, can I get a comment on the recent poll number that put the Fabray/Hudson ticket ten points above Puckerman and Zizes and five points ahead of you?"

"I'm still ahead of Santana and Karofsky by half a point, so my campaign strategy is to close the gap using the usual Archer charm. Awesome, classy and effective, as usual."

"One more question..." JBI said as Winnie struggled not to roll her eyes. "This one is from me. Will you sleep with me?"

"Oh, get lost." Winnie groaned then, stepping away from JBI as she walked away from him, swaying her hips more than necessary since she knew he would be focusing his camera on her ass. With a well-placed smirk, Winnie threw her hair over her shoulders and winked at it. "And vote Winnie Archer for prom queen!"

"I've been to Ann Taylor Loft, Filene's Basement and, like, six Forever 21s, and I cannot find a dress that fits." Lauren complained as she walked into the choir room with Santana and Brittany. "I'm gonna be forced to make my own dress for prom."

"Don't." Brittany said. "You'll seem poor."

"You're up for queen." Santana agreed as the three girls moved to take a seat. "You can't make your own prom dress."

"It's true." Winnie nodded. "Prom is, like, our Oscars. It's seriously, like, the most important night of our lives. And a good dress is a ticket for a perfect night."

"What about getting married?" Lauren asked.

"Oh, you can get married as many times as you want." Quinn said. "You only have one shot at your junior prom."

"What are you guys talking about?" Mercedes asked, as she walked inside.

"Prom dresses." Lauren said.

"Thank God I don't have to worry about that." Mercedes scoffed as she sat down with a huff. "I'm not going."

"Why not?" Tina asked.

"Cause nobody's asked me."

"All right, guys... Prom." Mr. Schue announced as he walked into the choir room to start the class.

"Please tell me we're not doing songs about prom." Sam pleaded.

"Nope. We are the prom." Mr. Schue corrected. "Figgins has asked us to perform."

"Let's do Run, Joey, Run." Rachel interjected as everyone turned to look at her.

"Now, I know this isn't ideal with Nationals coming up, but we really don't have a choice." Mr. Schue continued, wisely deciding to ignore Rachel's comment. "And we could really use the money. But I know that prom is a special rite of passage. I'm gonna make sure that all of you guys get a chance to enjoy the dance, too. So, we're gonna stagger the performances so that each and every one of you has a lot of time to dance with your dates."

Everyone smiled at that, but Mercedes didn't seem all that pleased.

"Excuse me." She mumbled, as she stood up to leave.

"Is she okay?" Mr. Schue frowned, confused.

"Mercedes doesn't have a date for prom." Quinn explained.
