KORI STEPPED OUT OF HER HOUSE KISSING PIETRO on the cheek. she wrapped her black cardigan tighter around her body as she walked down the street. her heeled boots clicked along the floor but added to her small height. she had black over the knee socks paired with a purple skater dress.

she needed to get groceries and since the town was only a five minute walk she didn't feel the need to use the car. she put her keys into her bag waving at katie when she passed by who was tending to her flowers.

the sun was out today but it had a slight chill on the air. she pulled the cardigan closer to her body while she fidgeted with her rings that littered her fingers. she often did this as a habit when she was nervous.

she soon arrived in the town smiling and greeting the people she'd got to know over the past two days. since the town was so small she recognised nearly everyone's faces as they walked by. she gave her polite smiles and nods before heading in that direction of the super market.

pietro had wanted to come with her but she told him to start on the garden furniture that he was trying to hold off in doing for as long as possible. she laughed when he had pouted at her and mumbled curses in russian, also forgetting russian was her first language.

she came to the supermarket and walked inside getting a trolly. she steered fine isles until she finally came to the things she needed. checking off the items on her list she headed to the final one which was milk at the fridges.

while putting her phone away she accidentally bumped into someone else trolly. "i'm so sorry!" she quickly apologised. she came around her trolly making sure the woman was alright.

the blonde nodded "i've been through worse" she joked giving kori a smirk. kori sighed in relief and let out a embarrassed smile. "i'm sorry again. i wasn't paying attention"

the blonde shook her head "it's fine honestly. like i said, handled much worse than a small nudge with a trolly" she laughed.

kori laughed as well and realised she didn't recognise this woman. she was taller but not much. blonde hair that had red roots coming through at the top. it seemed as though she had green eyes which kori noted was extremely rare with someone who had naturally red hair. she had a slim figure that was curvy just were she needed it to be.

kori was extremely jealous.

"i'm kori" she introduced "i just moved into town two days ago" she responded.

the blonde gave a smile "nice to meet you kori. my names natalie. natalie rushman" she held a hand out to shake. kori took it with a smile noting her firm shake.

once they let go kori let out a laugh "i know this sounds weird but i'm a little low on the friends department at the moment" natalie gave a reassuring smile "wanna meet up some time and get a drink?" kori asked the woman hoping she'd become a good friend.
