That is why we are partnering to support Maybelline's #BraveTogether initiative, a cause dedicated to breaking the stigma around anxiety and depression while addressing challenges and providing resources to those in need, such as Crisis Text Line. Crisis Text Line is a not-for-profit organization providing free, confidential crisis counseling through text message. The organization's services are available 24 hours a day, every day, throughout the U.S

📝  Writing Challenge

In honor of Mental Health Month, we're creating a space where we can all be #BraveTogether and foster a climate of support and spread courage to live one's life without shame. In 500 words or less, share your story of how bravery and emotional connections triumphed over a mental health challenge. Tag your story #BraveTogether and Wattpad will donation-match Maybelline $1 for each entry up to $10,000 so together we can contribute to Maybelline's commitment to donate $10M over the next 5 years to global and local mental health organizations.

Deadline to enter this contest is May 31st, 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time

📜  Submission Requirements

- Submission must be 500 words or less

- You must be 16+

- Your submission must be in English

- Submission must be tagged #BraveTogether

- Posted as a new story on your Wattpad profile (must have a Wattpad account to enter, to create one for free visit here. )

- Any Submission not compliant with Wattpad's content guidelines will be removed immediately

- Content that encourages or gives instruction on self-harm will be removed.

- Content that contains lots of description might be rated Mature, and stories that glorify or do not "tell a story" might be removed.

- We want to encourage healthy discussions about these issues, so content about recovery, survival or that portray the negative consequences of self-harm are acceptable on Wattpad

- You can submit more than one story to be considered, as long as they meet our guidelines

✅ Eligibility Requirements

Entrants much be legal residents of the United States and 16 years of age or older at time of entry

🏆 Prizes

One (1) winning entry shall receive the following:

- Their entry made into a short live action or animated film

- A gift bag full of Maybelline products valued at $100

- A social shout out from Maybelline and Wattpad

- Have your story featured by Maybelline on various channels

Two (2) runners up shall receive the following:

- A gift bag full of Maybelline products valued at $50

- A social shout out from Maybelline and Wattpad
