"SHOYOOO-!" Natsu, Hinata's younger sister slammed into his room. She expected to see the orange haired boy up, and playing around with Tobio, but instead she saw something else. "Hm?" She hummed, skipping over to the two boys.

Kageyama and Hinata was currently laying on the smaller boy's bed, sleeping peacefully next to each other. After all of the commotion and fooling around, the two boys ended up tired and worn out. Natsu looked over the sleeping boys, wondering what they were doing sleeping in the same bed. Even though they were friends, one of them would usually be sleeping on the hardwood floor.

'At least you're okay now!' Natsu giggled to herself, trotting right back out of the smaller boy's room. His little sister heard from his mother that Shoyo had been sick again so, she was going to go and cheer him up. It looks like someone already beat her to it. She slid the door shut, making sure not to disturb both boys. "Mommy!! Can I have something to eat?..." Her voice faded off as she entered the living room.

More time later...

"Mmm, comfortable." Hinata mumbled in his sleep, feeling something enveloped around his whole body. It was a mix between strong arms, and a soft t-shirt with the smell of detergent rubbing against the smaller boy's face. 'How soft.' He dopily smiled to himself, snuggling up closer to whatever was cuddling around him.

Hinta continued to snore and tightly squeeze the unknown thing who was also squeezing around him. He thought it was pretty odd that something in his room would be clutching him back while he was asleep so, his eyes ended up fluttering open.

"GYAHH!" Hinata loudly exclaimed, looking up to whose sleeping face was holding him. It was none other than Kageyama. The smaller boy had somehow forgotten that he and Tobio was fooling around beforehand, and ended up falling into a deep slumber. 'What to do? What to do? What to do?' He panicked, attempting to push the taller boy off.

"Mmmph." Kageyama sleepily muttered, clinging Hinata tighter, and closer. Even in his subconscious mind he didn't want to let the smaller boy go. 'So soft.' His hand fell onto Shoyo's soft, orange hair.

'His grip is too strong!' Hinata flailed his arms and legs, unable to escape Kageyama's grasp. The smaller boy continued to struggle, but he eventually gave up when he realized that he wouldn't be able to release himself from Tobio's grip. 'I guess it wouldn't kill me to stay like this for a little while.' He sighed, completely going limp in the taller boy's arms. And once again, Kageyama ended up staying another night at Hinata's house. Still cuddling with the smaller boy even though he didn't know it.

"It's great to have you back Hinata!" All of the smaller boy's teammates gathered around him. After a doctor's appointment, Shoyo got the green light to go back to school, but he still wasn't allowed to practice for volleyball for a few more days. He still wanted to go and watch their practice since, he felt like he could learn some things if he just sat back and watched.

"Soooo, what happened last time Hinata? You gave all of us a huge scare!" Tanaka exclaimed, having Nishinoya ferociously nod his head in agreement. Both boys looked at Shoyo with wide eyes, anticipating an answer.

"Heh, I pushed myself too hard when I was sick." Hinata nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

A little white lie.

He wasn't going to, and wasn't planning to tell them that he had a bunch of unknown illnesses and stuff like that. "I'm not allowed to practice yet but, I'll stay here to watch!" He smiled, downright disappointed he couldn't join his teammates during practice.

"Let us know when you're allowed to practice, okay?" Daichi gave Hinata a reassuring smile, beckoning Tanaka and Nishinoya to join everyone on the court. Shoyo just nodded, giving his team captain a weak smile. The smaller boy felt so utterly bored, just sitting there and watching the team practice. He didn't know what he was planning to learn just from watching. Some people learn from visuals, but he learned by actions.

Hinata was leaning against the wall with a pout plastered across of his face. Practice has been going on for around an hour, and he was so fidgety and tempted to just stand up and run across the court. The shorter boy's eyes drifted to Kageyama setting to Tanaka and Asahi, wishing that he could be taking the taller boy's sets right now.

Shoyo's legs were shaking with energy to just burst up onto the court that it was hard for him to stay still. During all of this, his eyes didn't leave Kageyama. In fact, for some reason, his eyes didn't even follow any other ball except the ones set by Tobio.

"GIVE IT HERE KAGEYAMA!" Tanaka loudly shouted, bringing Hinata back out of his daze. He saw Kageyama set the ball towards the boy with the buzz cut, perfect enough for Tanaka to slam the ball down. "Hey! Nice set Kageyama!" He praised the taller boy, just making Shoyo ever more jittery. Tobio ended up catching a glance of this, seeing the shorter boy trying his hardest to stay still. He snickered to himself, going to take a water break to chat with Hinata. It was strange because after waking up with Shoyo in his arms in the morning, it felt as if a switch flipped inside of him. It was hard to describe but, he felt more strangely allured towards the smaller boy.

"You look upset." Kageyama scoffed, picking up the water bottle that was sitting next to Hinata. He glugged it down, wanting to get some kind of uprise out of Hinata.

"Yeah, because I have to sit here and watch you toss." Hinata pouted, sitting with hands in his legs. "It's not fair you're getting better while I'm still sick, stupid Kageyama." He grumbled, sounding like this was somehow Kageyama's fault or something. Shoyo waited for the taller boy to retort something back but, all he felt was a palm on the top of his head.

"Then hurry and get better." Kageyama mumbled, hand still rustling through Hinata's hair. The smaller boy was looking up at Tobio, still having an annoyed pout on his face but also a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"What you're doing right now is creepy." Hinata frowned, not used to hearing Kageyama not yell at him with he called him stupid. For a while, Tobio still had his fingers through Shoyo's hair but, eventually he did have to get back to practice.

"Well your face is ugly right now." Kageyama blurted out, taking his hand and slapping it down onto Hinata's head. After that, the taller boy ended up walking back onto the court to go back to his practicing.

'What was that about?' Hinata thought to himself, feeling his face start to heat up.
