'How'd I end up in my bed again?' Hinata woke up from his nap, letting out a big yawn. And once again, Kageyama was laying on the floor next to Shoyo's bedside. "Kageyama..why are you still here?" He muttered to himself, looking out the window to see that the sun was already starting to set. The smaller watched Tobio sleep, seeing his chest rise up and down at the speed of his breathing.

As Kageyama continued to sleep, Hinata could feel the crisp breeze blowing in through his window. It was almost springtime so it was nice having some breeze in this season. Shoyo decided it was time to wake the taller boy up because night time was starting to come around the corner.

"HEY KAGEYAMA! WAKE UP!" Shoyo shouted, slamming his smaller fist onto Kageyama's head. This jolted the dark haired setter awake, making his head throb in pain.

"DAMN YOU DUMBASS! WAKE ME UP LIKE A NORMAL PERSON WILL YOU?" Kageyama roared, fully awake now. Hinata was tightly squeezing his eyes shut, listening to the taller boy who was continuing to shout and ramble.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Hinata teared, starting to get a bit frightened at Kageyama's tone. Shoyo figured he should've been a bit more sensitive but, it was too late for that now. "So Kageyama, why are you still here. It's going to get dark soon." He questioned after Tobio stopped his loud shouting.

"Well one, I fell asleep. Two, I wanted to ask you a question about something." Tobio spoke, his tone getting a bit quieter than it was while he was screeching. Hinata looked at him with a puzzled look.

"Well, what is it?" Shoyo asked, inching closer and closer to the taller boy. Kageyama looked hesitant, just slightly scratching his face. "Agh! Don't get all shy on me now!" The smaller boy shouted, trying to push the question out of Tobio. The dark haired setter waited for a moment, and eventually spat out his question.

"...I wanted to know more about your..sickness." Kageyama nervously spoke, asking the question that he stayed over at Hinata's home for. Shoyo looked at him with a blank expression for a moment.

PFFT!

"HEY! DON'T LAUGH YOU DUMBASS!" Kageyama loudly shouted, as an embarrassed pink color painted across of his face. He ultimately regretted asking his question to the shorter boy who never took anything serious. Still, after Hinata stopped laughing, he did accept Tobio's question.

"What do you wanna know?" Hinata grinned, feeling a bit pleased that Kageyama cared enough to put his pride below him, and ask his question. 'So you do care Kageyama?' He smiled to himself, waiting to answer whatever the taller boy wanted to know.

"I dunno, just what exactly are you going through?" Kageyama asked, criss-crossing his legs while he sat on the bed. Both boys were both facing each other, intensely staring while they both talked.

"Welllll....I don't really know." Hinata just shrugged, not the answer Kageyama was expecting. The taller boy looked at the other boy in perplexity. "I'm just easily prone to a bunch of illnesses and stuff." He added, recalling what the doctor last told him and his mother at his last appointment. "Oh yeah...there is also a chance I could die." He blurted out with no hesitation, but this caused Tobio's eyes to go wide.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! YOU'RE JOKING RIGHT?" Kageyama suddenly panicked, grasping both sides of Hinata's shoulders. He was both shocked that the smaller boy said it like it didn't matter, and at the fact that Shoyo could actually die before he hit 80.

"No? Why would I make such a lame joke like that?" Hinata lightly smiled, making Kageyama's eyes twitch. The taller boy didn't understand why Shoyo was saying all of this so joyously. The orange haired boy could tell that Tobio was starting to feeling uneasy by the way he looked at him. "Don't wor-"

"HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO WORRY WHEN YOU'RE TALKING LIKE YOU'RE OKAY WITH DYING?!" Kageyama flipped out, exposing his hidden worries that he was trying to tuck away for Hinata. Shoyo looked at the taller boy with another expression that was anything but joyous. It was like Tobio said something wrong in this conversation. 'Why are you looking at me like that Hinata?'

"Of course I'm not okay with it Kageyama." Hinata spoke in a quiet tone, looking down. "But what's the sense in worrying if it's going to come one day anyways?" He was still looking down, his voice not having an ounce of excitement or anything anymore. They both sat in silence for a short while, Shoyo not looking up. That was until he felt the touch of Kageyama's head rustling through his hair.

"Gah, I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry." Kageyama sighed, rummaging his hand through Shoyo's soft hair, and looking down with his usual scowling face. 'I can never say the right things huh?' He felt a slight pinch in his chest, feeling guilty that he caused Hinata's mood to drastically drop.

Hinata just looked up at him for a while, an empty expression plastered on his face. A small tint of pink was blotched on his cheeks. Kageyama caught eye of that, also getting flustered for some reason. It was pretty awkward, and you could cut the tension with a knife. That was until Shoyo ended up doing something to break the tension.

"Wow Kageyama! You really do care!" Hinata exclaimed, jumping onto Kageyama and smothering him in his arms. Tobio's eyes went wide, the tint of pink suddenly turning into a beet red. It was like the smaller boy's mood did a whole 180. 'Stupid, I told you not to worry right?' He smiled to himself, still clinging onto the taller boy.

"You- You moron! No, I don't care, get off of me!" Kageyama grumbled, now the one trying to get out of Hinata's grasp. The taller boy could feel his face heating up from embarrassment, but there was no sense in hiding it. Shoyo may be a simpleton idiot, but he still notices the littlest things.

"Woah, you're super red!" Hinata gaped, squeezing Kageyama's face between both of his palms. "Hehe, you look so stupid!" He cheekily giggled to himself, still smooshing Tobio's face.

While Hinata was playing with Kageyama's face, the taller boy didn't have the energy to push the smaller one off. Or maybe he just didn't want to. He felt conflicted about something. He couldn't hear the sounds of Shoyo giggling and fooling around.

All he could hear was...

The sound of his heartbeat beating like rapid drums...
