Wedding...Part 2...

One thing I was sure about was that my dad is gonna kill both of us.

Wait why did I even bother coming to this wedding, I mean it's my sister's wedding for sure, but still, now I don't know what to do, my parents are pretty excited about this marriage, and how the fuck am I gonna tell them.

Argghhhhhh...

Damn it.

I was busy thinking of a solution and just when I decided to tell the truth my parents barged in.

My dad was surprised to see me initially but covered it the next second. He looked like it didn't bother him whether I came or not. This thought was enough to bring tears but I grasped them.

"Where is Bella?" My dad asked no one in particular.

" she's not here " my mom whispered slowly, more like realizing herself.

" What do you mean by that? " my dad asked questioning my mom and quickly diverted his gage to my mom. There was a different emotion going through his eyes.

" Da...Daa... dad I. I " I wanted to explain but he didn't let me. He lifted his hand in the air signaling me to keep quiet.

" it's clear as crystal she's not here, look at that wedding dress."

" I fucking can't believe this, how can both my daughters fail me ".

This again bought tears to my eyes.  He didn't know that I didn't intend to hurt him. I had to leave this place, to accomplish my motive and make him proud by showing how independent I can be and show him how well he raised me.

" Now what should we do?". 

" I don't know, I don't know how will I face my colleagues after this. " my dad said with tension drilling on his face.

We were all too busy to think of a solution on how to do it. And suddenly my dad raised his eyes and focused on me.

Why is he staring at me suddenly? Oh my God, I hope nothing bad happens.

" since you already humiliated me before. I won't tolerate this embarrassment again, let it be from you or you. Now that your sister ran away, I have decided to fix this and you will replace her in this marriage without any further argument, I will talk to Mr.King about this and try my best to make him accept it. And u will do as I say. By the time I return, I want you to be ready." By warning me he exited the bride's room.

Wait what the actual, did I hear it correctly. 

What did he mean by Mr.King?

Mr. King as in my boss Mr.king or who.

Omg

I hope it's not my boss.

Why did you do this Bella? I internally groaned at myself

As I was busy chiding myself my mom came to me and mumbled " Oh sweety I'm so sorry this is happening to you but I hope you understand where your dad is coming from. Please do this for us, please do this for your dad sweety. I can't see your dad going through another breakdown if this wedding gets off."

By the expression on my mom's face, it's clear that they underwent a lot after my departure.

I guess I have to kill my dreams to make my parents happy. I know killing my dreams means killing a part of myself, the part which always wanted to be independent.

I just nodded at my mom, indirectly telling her to do whatever they want. I made sure no tears flowed out. I just cried silently to myself imagining how my life is gonna turn after this marriage.

Author's p.o.v.

Nathaniel quickly made his way to Mr.King after getting the news of his daughter's escape. He was determined to keep his promise that he made to Mr. King. He was determined to make Mr. King agree to his new proposal. After getting the news of his eldest daughter's escape, He decided to replace Bella with Althea as he couldn't face this society after the things going on in his family.

He met Mr. King in the hallway talking to his other business partners. He approached Mr.King and asked him to come aside and made sure no one was around.

"Mr. King, I'm so sorry to inform you that I couldn't keep the promise I made to you".

" What do you mean Mr.Jones? "
Asked Mr. King.

" I'm sorry to tell you this sir but Bella is not there in her room by the time I reached her room "

" What do you mean by that, are you serious, now what will happen, do even know how this will affect our companies and you know how much loss we have to face because of this?"

" I know sir, I'm sorry sir. I know sir how badly this will affect our image in society. That's why I have come up with this sir. I have decided to marry my second daughter to Mr. Aiden. I hope you agree to this arrangement, sir.

I hope you agree to this cause this is the only way to manage everything after all. Society will know it is a Jones daughter who is getting married to your son, but they won't know who's the daughter she is. I hope you can explain this to your son too, sir. And I'm extremely sorry for what happened."

Mr. King gave it a thought and decided to carry on with this arrangement cause they can't do anything except this at the last minute.

" what about your second daughter Mr. Jones, did she agree to this proposal?."

" Yes sir, she is ready to marry your son. I informed her before informing you. This marriage will go on the way it was supposed to but just the bride is exchanged that's it ".

" Fine then let it happen this way I will inform my son about this ".
