"Hey dumbass, wake up, we're here." Kageyama shook the smaller boy who was in a deep sleep awake. Shoyo was unresponsive, still absolutely exhausted even though he just slept for almost 45 minutes. The dark haired boy continued to shake Hinata, deciding that he wouldn't leave the orange haired boy to sleep on the bus. It was almost as trying to wake a corpse in the morgue.
"Go away...10 more minutes mom." Hinata groggily mumbled, thinking that he was in this bedroom. He was so used to telling his mom that he wanted to sleep in more, he thought Kageyama was his mother.
"I'm not your mom! Now, wake up moron!" Tobio shouted, shoving his fist down, and jabbing it into the smaller boy's thighs. This jolted Hinata awake, making him groan in pain.
"KYAA! Why'd you do that?!" Hinata whined, rubbing the throbbing area at which Tobio punched. "Why couldn't you wake me up like a normal person?" He yawned, scratching his head. He got up from his seat, picking up his bag while he was bent down.
"I tried to wake you up once. It's your fault you didn't listen." Kageyama scoffed, waltzing down the bus aisle, not waiting for the orange haired boy.
"Hey Kageyama! Wait for me!" Shoyo desperately yelled, trailing after the taller boy like a puppy running after it's owner. "Don't just leave me on the bus!" He grouched, hopping down to the ground, skipping all of the stairs on the bus.
"I'm still here, so I waited for you, didn't I?" Kageyama asked in a snarky tone, walking slightly ahead of of orange haired boy. "You slept so much in the bus, what kept you up all night?" He asked, turning around, but still walking backwards. Hinata had a good reason for staying up all night but, he couldn't quite tell the dark haired boy. Even if Kageyama didn't care, he couldn't let him worry or anything.
"Mmmm, studying!" Hinata grinned, coming up with such an idiotic excuse. Everyone knows that the orange haired boy didn't use his freetime to study.
"You weren't studying, stop lying dumbass." Kageyama frowned, conking the smaller boy on his head with his fist. "You don't have to tell me, you just look super tired. It makes you look ugly." He blurted out, being insensitive as always.
"Hey! Don't call me ugly Kageyama!" Hinata jumped, and smacked Kageyama at the back of his head. 'It's not my fault I look like this.' His head dropped a bit low, that Tobio noticed it.
"Gahhh, I was just joking around. Don't take it so personal dumbass." Tobio's voice softened a bit, attempting to go back on his insult. "You're not...superrrrr ugly you moron." He reluctantly admitted, flipping his head in the other direction.
"What a backhanded compliment Kageyama." Hinata murmured, pouting, and still walking besides Kageyama. 'You're improving though.' He silently chuckled to himself, looking up at the boy whose eyes were averted in the other direction. He's right though, the taller boy was improving a bit. If it was months before, Tobio wouldn't have cared if he hurt somebody's feelings or not.

"Thanks for finally joining us you two." Coach Ukai said, watching the two boys drag themselves in the gym for their after-games meetings. "Take a seat and we'll get started." He continued on, both boys taking a seat in the back row.
All the meeting was about was ways to improve their communication, and teamwork. There wasn't too much to improve, seeing as they were pretty successful in both of those categories. It was just that Seijoh was a tad bit better with coordination than the Karasuno volleyball team. Still, they had a chance of beating Aoba Johsai one day.
"Alright, get some rest. See you guys tomorrow." Coach Ukai and Takeda waved all of the boys out. They all continued out, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Kageyama and Hinata walking to Ukai's shop to get some meat buns.
"So, why were you two late to the meeting?" Tsukishima asked Kageyama and Hinata, throwing them both, and Yamaguchi a package of meat buns.
"This dumbass wouldn't wake up from his sleep on the bus." Kageyama bluntly answered, taking a meat bun out, and passing the other one to Hinata. They both chomped down on their meat buns, enjoying and savoring the taste of the sweet, but salty meat and bread. "So that's why." He added, chewing his food.
"Why didn't you just leave him, King?" Tsukishima whispered to Kageyama, taunting him. "You have a crush on the idiot or something?" He snickered, glaring at the orange haired boy who was busy walking ahead, chattering it up with Yamaguchi. Tobio looked like a vein was about to pop out of his head, annoyed with the tone of the blonde boy's voice.
"No! Why would I like a moron like him?!" Tobio retorted, speaking a bit louder than he planned to do. Hinata and Yamaguchi looked back at both Tsukishima and Kageyama, wondering to what they were talking about.
"Better pipe down your highness." Tsukishima smirked, flicking Kageyama on his forehead. 'It's so blatantly obvious.' He rolled his eyes, as he and Yamaguchi took the route they always take home. That was the route where both pairs parted ways to their houses.
"Hey Kageyama, what were you and Tsukishima talking about earlier?" Hinata asked out of curiosity, licking the last of the meat bun flavor off of his fingers. "Looks like he said something to get on your nerves." He chuckled, looking up at Kageyama. The taller boy didn't exactly want to tell the smaller boy what both of them were talking about. Both of them walked in silence, only hearing the chirping of crickets in the bushes. "...Kageyama?" He tilted his head, looking up at the silent boy.
"It's none of your business."
