White. That was all I saw, Was I dead. I really can't tell, I couldn't really remember how I got here or why I was here, but most of all Where was I?. I looked around my surroundings trying to find a way out where I was but all I saw was an endless tunnel of. Nothing.
I started to move forward trying to escape whatever this place was I was in but I just kept going in loops. I eventually gave up once I was tired and just curled in a ball on what I'm guessing was the floor. "Liv" I heard a voice call, my head immediately shot up and I started to search for the source but yet again saw nothing. "Liv" the voice called once more but there still was no one.
That's it I'm definitely dead but I thought when you die you're supposed to go to like heaven or something. "Liv you need to wake up" the same voice called out for the third time making me curious who it could be. "What do you mean wake up I'm dead!" I was getting frustrated and upset. What does it mean to wake up, where am I, what even is the place!!. I was confused and frustrated from all that has been happening here.
"Liv wake up" I frantically started to search for the course of the sound but still nothing, "Wake up Olivia you need to wake up" the voice was fading away as it spoke those same words over and over. "What do you mean-"
A tear rippling scream filled my throat as I jolted forward from a throbbing pain in my head. It felt as if someone was banging my head with a massive hammer. I continued screaming not knowing how to react. "Liv hey calm down, calm down I'm here," A voice said from beside me followed by a tender and soft hug from the source. "This is gonna hurt" before I could even comprehend what the person said I felt something stick into my lower thigh.
My screams got louder and louder but eventually soon started to subside as I slowly lost consciousness soon becoming enveloped in darkness. Here we go again.
The stark smell of blood was overwhelming. I scrunched my eyes at the bright light that was sipping through my closed eyelids. I felt powerless and heavy. I could not move my hand, my head, or my body.
I slowly started blinking, desperately trying to open my eyes and see what's around me. Where am I? As blinding light slowly subsided I could take a look around my surroundings.
Am I in a hospital?
The room was pristine clean and gloomy. Typical hospital bed, IV and monitors beeping. The walls were a sickly red color and the linens were grayish. But the strange part of it all was, I didn't exactly look like a hospital.
I could not remember how I got here but I knew for sure that I wanted out as soon as possible. Preferably right now. I started looking around the room for a way out and saw a medium-sized white door.
I looked back to my arm and then got an idea. I quickly tore the IV cord from my hand and wobbled my way to the door. As I was about to open the door it opened and in stepped Angel.
Wait, Angel ok what's going on?
"Liv, what are you doing out of bed!?!" She asked frantically looking between me and the now empty bed. I gulped inaudibly taking a step back from where she was, "A-Angle, what are you doing here?" I asked still fased and continued taking tiny steps back.
She rose an eyebrow at my words and said, "You don't remember anything?" I shook my head at her question and started scanning the room I was in, "Where am I?" I asked bluntly facing back to her.
"You're at my house," She said simply making her way towards the bed I was in a few minutes and pressed a button beside it. This, a house? It looks like a hospital for god's sake, and geesh that awful smell of bleach yuk.
I was knocked out of my thoughts by two doctors barging into the room and scooping me up by the arm. I was then placed on the bed along with the IV cord being placed back into my arm. I watched keenly as they placed the IV in my arm.
"So what am I doing here again?" I asked Agel as the doctors finished up cleaning the excess blood from when I pulled the IV cord out of my arm.
"You mean to tell me you don't remember a thing how you get here?" Angel asked which I shook my head to signal a no. She nodded her head and started talking again, "I got some men to take you from you're house and bring you to mine, which you've been at for the past 2 hours"
I furrowed my eyebrows trying to remember all the information she was giving me. Then it hit me like a train. Oh gosh, how could I be so stupid to forget all of that, wait John what happened to him?
As if reading my thoughts Angel blurted out, "He's dead" I snapped my head in her direction clearly shocked by what she just said. "I shot him, when I came up to your room to talk with you about why you were at my house I saw him trying to rape you so without thinking I shot him," She said coldly looking rather livid and pissed.
"Wait exactly why am I here?" I changed the subject seeing that it pissed her off. "Remember the day I disappeared?" She asked me.
I nodded my head and said, "Clearly how could I forget the day you said you'll be back soon only to be back six years later!"
"Look Liv I'm really sorry about that and I have a good explanation" She replied softly looking at me. I raised an eyebrow at her and said, "Ok so start explaining"
