My Nightmare

Chapter 42

The next day, Monday. I waited for lunch at the cafeteria because I couldn't wait to meet Lisander. Can't wait to see how our relationship will be after yesterday we spent together and getting closer. Hopefully, our relationship will get better. I walked to Cafeteria together with Chaeng in a good mood and a smile that never left me. Chaeyoung asks what's wrong with me today. But I think she already knew that Lisander asked me out yesterday because she was also smiling and teasing me a little.

Arriving at the cafeteria, we immediately queued to buy our food and sat down at the table where we usually were. But I had to be disappointed because everyone was there including Tzuyu but Lisander was nowhere to be seen. I really wanted to ask Jisoo or Tzuyu but didn't want to be obvious. So I swallowed my question and decided to wait for him. Who knows if he might have something to do with before lunch.

I had to be disappointed again because until lunchtime was over, Lisander didn't show up and we returned to our next class. My next class is not the same as Chaeyoung so I went to my class alone while wondering. Today I didn't meet Lisander. So I have to wait until tomorrow.

The second day after our date, Lisander was still nowhere to be seen at the cafeteria. So without holding back I asked, "Has anyone seen Lisander? Why doesn't he eat lunch?" I asked, drawing the attention of the others.

"Hmm... I didn't see him yesterday in our class. This morning I have no class with him, only later." Jisoo said after some thought.

"Did you see him, Tzuyu?" I asked the woman who had always had lunch with Lisander.

"I haven't seen him from yesterday either. He didn't even come to the café. I've sent a message to him, but he hasn't answered yet. Maybe he has something to do. I'll try to ask the manager. Who knows if he has permission." She said and I just nodded. We all wondered but didn't really think about it.

Wednesday and Lisander are still out of sight.

"Yesterday afternoon he also did not attend the class." Jisoo put her food tray in front of me as she said with furrowed brows.

"Do you know something Chaeng?" I whispered to Chaeyoung who was next to me and made sure no one heard us.

"No. He didn't leave any messages." Chaeyoung answered me in a whisper too.

"What is wrong?" Tae oppa and Jimin oppa just came to ask because they saw our serious faces and were wondering. During the past 2 days, they did not come to eat with us because they had project assignments that they had to complete.

"Lisander didn't appear since Monday. Not here nor in class. Even Tzuyu said he didn't come to the café." I answered Tae oppa in a low voice.

"And today?" Jimin oppa asked.

"This morning I had the same class as him, but he was absent," Jisoo answered his question. "And no one saw him today." she continued. Now we just have to wait for information from Tzuyu, who is currently walking with her tray to our table. She sat next to Jisoo with a serious face.
