My Nightmare

Chapter 37

He just came out of his room which is in front of my room. His hand was still on the knob but he didn't move. He looked, staring at me.

"*Ehmm... Jen?" Jin oppa's voice made me aware that he was still in front of me but I didn't take my eyes off Lisander because he seemed to be aware of Jin oppa's voice too and his face drastically turned flat and emotionless. His eyes turned cold and looked at Jin oppa and me in turn. He even looked me up and down before he finally closed the door and left.

"Jen? What is wrong?" Jin oppa asked once again and made me took my mind away from Lisander.

"Sorry. What is it, oppa?" I asked and our eyes met. Jin oppa's eyes sparkled and with slightly red cheeks he stretched out his hand.

"I saw this on the market and it looks like it suits you," he said. I looked at his outstretched hand and saw a bracelet made of chains with flowers all around.

"Oh," Is all I can say. I received the bracelet and said my thanks to him.

"Um. Are you going to the festival with me later?" he asked after I received his unexpected gift.

"Aren't we all going there together?" I asked, avoiding. I know what he means, but I pretend to don't understand.

"I mean you with me, together," he said even more emphatically.

"Oh. Um..." I didn't want to hurt him but on my side, I didn't want to go to the festival with him. I want to be with... "Sorry oppa, I'll be there together with Jisoo and the others. We've planned it long before. But of course, we all can go together."

"Oh. Okay. It doesn't matter," said oppa while giggling awkwardly. "Okay then, I'll wait for you downstairs."

"Okay oppa. Thank you," I replied.

"See you later, Jen"

"Yes, oppa. See you later"

I closed the door and immediately changed clothes.

After dinner, we all went to the festival place on foot because it was located not far from the villa where we were staying. This is one of our considerations in choosing that villa.

From the restaurant where we ate dinner, Jin oppa always approached me. Sit next to me and now walk beside me. I don't mind as long as we're not alone. Chaeyoung, Jisoo, and Lisander were the same as this afternoon, they were walking behind me while the other oppas was in front of us.

This famous festival venue is animatedly filled with colorful stalls selling snacks. There is also an area provided for games and selling local products. We entered after buying tickets for each of us.
