I gasped in surprise. I closed my eyes tightly and caught my breath before turning to the voice behind me. Because I was too focused, I didn't realize someone had entered my room.

"Dad! You surprised me!" I exclaimed while clutching my shirt on the chest because my heart was beating rapidly.

Dad laughed and said, "I've knocked on your door many times but you didn't answer. So I just went in,"

"Aish... At least make a sound. Don't enter quietly and suddenly talk behind me," I said, sulking.

"I didn't enter quietly, princess. My footsteps are quite loud. I even call you but you seem very serious and engrossed with that," he replied with a smile.

I just looked at him and didn't argue anymore because indeed, I was serious and focused. "When are you coming home? And where's mom?" I asked after I overcame my shock.

"Just now. I didn't find you downstairs with Taehyung, that's why I came up here to greet you. But it seems you are so busy that you don't notice. Mom is downstairs, she is receiving a call," my father replied by opening his hands. Even though I was a little annoyed, I immediately got into his arms because I missed them.

After releasing myself from his embrace, I was about to meet mom but dad was staring at my laptop screen with a serious face, and his words made me stop.

"I know them. Brusch Manoban and Park Sae Nie. They are Park Jun Kyung and Park Shin Hye's best friends," Dad said in a sad voice.

"How did you know them?" I asked again, turning to approach him.

"I remember helping Jun Kyung to help them with their business license. While working with them, for a while, I knew why they became Jun Kyung and Shin Hye's best friends. They are very kind, friendly and humble people. Even after finished taking care of all the required permits, we were friends. Too bad they died in an accident. I remember seeing their toddlers. Two adorable and cute children. Unfortunately, the girl died and the others were unknown after selling their parents' restaurant. If I'm not mistaken, her name was Rose? Rosie?"

"Roseanna,"

"Yes, Roseanna and Li... sander," Dad said while still staring at the laptop displaying a photo of their wrecked car and a small photo of them beside it.

"Roseanna is still alive, dad. And they didn't die because of an accident," I said, which made him surprised. I don't know what I'm doing, maybe I hope dad can help?

"What do you mean? They died in an accident and Roseanna died with them," Daddy looking at me with furrowed brows.

"That was according to the media that their killer had paid for. The truth is Roseanna and Lisander still alive. They are my college friends. Lisander just entered this year and Roseanna is Chaeyoung,"

"What!?" Daddy was surprised to hear this revelation. So I urged him to sit down and tell him everything. I know I can trust my father. He is my parent, duh.
