JENNIE POV

After Lisander parked my car in the parking area of his apartment, we walked in. Still in silence. I just said 'thank you' when he opened the car door for me. After that, no one spoke until he opened the door to his apartment.

"Come on in," he said because I just stayed in front of the open door. I went into it and stood in the middle of the living area. Lisander went to the kitchen area after closing the door and turning on the heater. He turns it off while away, presumably to save electricity.

"Where's your first aid kit?" I asked him. He spun around, took his attention away from the stove, and looked at me with raised eyebrows.

"What for?" he asked. I returned his gaze by raising my eyebrows too. Should he ask? Isn't that obvious?

"Of course for your wound," I said. Hearing my answer his eyebrows dropped.

"In the bathroom," he replied briefly. Without speaking, I turned around and walked to the bathroom. I've been in the bathroom before but never noticed there was a first aid kit in it.

"Behind the mirror box," he exclaimed. My attention went straight to the mirror box above his single sink. I opened the box that contained enough medicine and equipment to treat external wounds. Actually, this is quite a lot compared to other common drugs such as for headaches or other minor aches. Perhaps it was because of what he had done that made him need the medicine and equipment for the treatment of external wounds more. I sighed and took all that was needed to treat his wound then closed the mirror box again and carried the medicine and equipment outside.

I put it on the coffee table in front of the couch and then took off my coat because the heating started working. Lisander has finished making the hot drink and put it on the coffee table next to the first aid kit I brought with me. After putting down our glasses he also took off his jacket.

Even though it hasn't snowed yet, the weather pretty cold. As usual, I wear warm clothes and a coat. But Lisander only wore his t-shirt and a jacket that wasn't thick. Isn't he cold?

I stared at the bloodstained T-shirt on his chest and sighed again. I told him to sit down and he obeyed me.

"I only have tea right now. But if you want something else, I can go out and buy it," he said. I did not answer him and just took a cotton ball and wound cleanser then checked the wound on his right temple which was still slightly bleeding but fortunately didn't flow.

"It's okay," I replied, pressing the cotton against the wound to clean it.

"Jen... You don't have to -"

"I need to. I want to," I cut him knowing what he was going to say. He definitely doesn't want me to help him treat his wound. Even though I didn't look at his eyes, but I know he was staring at me. Our faces are close enough but I hope he can't hear my heart beating fast.
