~ FLASHBACK IN KITA'S POV~

Shinsuke sat in the courtyard alone, he had sprained his ankle while running around the playground. He watched as his friends continued to run around without him, watching as they flew around on the playground, climbing up the jungle gym and the monkey bars. He watched in envy, but he remained silent about it. 

His eyes travelled over to a girl who sat on her own, her eyes stuck on the book that she held. Shinsuke couldn't help but admire her from afar. He thought to himself, hyping himself up before he walked over to the girl. She didn't take her eyes off of the book that she read. 

He cleared his throat to announce himself, watching as the girl finally took her eyes off of her book "Hello."

The girl smiled softly to him, making his heart skip beats. "Hello."

Shinsuke's cheeks reddened slightly. I didn't think I'd get this far... "Bye!" He sprinted away from her, his face red from embarrassment. Why did I run away???

The boy sat in his classroom, his eyes studying the window that showed the courtyard. He couldn't help but continue to look back to the weekend and how he ran away from the girl. I'm so stupid... That was until the familiar figure caught his gaze from outside. She sat on the bench, reading. I wonder what she's reading... Maybe it's different to what she was reading on the weekend. 

He watched as she only focused on the pages, before he felt a piece of paper hit his shoulders. Shinsuke looked to his friend, who looked at him confused. Oh yeah... Class...

Shinsuke sat in the lunch room, watching as the girl sat with her friends and read through a novel. How do I get her to notice me? He frowned slightly, playing with his food. He could feel his friends gaze on him. "Kita-san, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing.." He sighed softly. All she does is read everyday...His eyes began to brighten as a plan began to form in his head. What if I read the whole library? She'd have to notice me then!

Without saying goodbye, Shinsuke sprinted to the library. What do I even start with?
