Hey guys! Bringing you part 2, surrounding harry this time. I hope you liked the last part and are still here! Anyways, to the story!
I was sitting around the table in 12 Grimmauld Place, waiting for Dumbledore to tell us what the hell this meeting was about. He had requested all of the order, plus me, ron, and hermione, to meet here as he had urgent business to discuss with us. Dumbledore cleared his throat. "It has come to my attention that there is a wizard in America that is very powerful." "Like Voldemort?" I questioned, and some adults winced at my blatant use of the name. "No, not like Voldemort Harry," Dumbledore answered, "In fact, he is not even aware that magic exists." The moment he said this everyone exploded.
"How can he not know about magic if he is a powerful wizard?" "How old is he?" "Why is he in America?" "How did he not get a letter to a magic school?" "How does he not know about magic yet?" was thrown around the table. Somehow Dumbledore managed to hear all the questions and responded, "He is very powerful, and doesn't recognize the things he is doing as out of the ordinary. 17. Because that is where he lives. He was missing when the letters were sent. Because no one told him."
"Now with that over with, who would like to come with me to collect him?" Dumbledore asked. Immediately Ron, Hermione, Lupin, and I all screamed "ME". He laughed and then had us grab onto each other an apparate to the boy's house.
I realized when we were knocking on the door to his apartment that we never asked Dumbledore for his name. Just as I opened my mouth to ask Dumbledore, the door was opened by a boy- no a man, with tousled black hair, a muscular body, and sea green eyes. I was straight, but that man was HOT.
"Hello? Who are you people? You know comic con is that way right?" the boy asked, and pointed in the direction we came from for the last part.
"I am Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Are you Perseus Jackson?" questioned Dumbledore. Ah so his name was Perseus. Weird name. Anyways.
"Um yes I am, and hold on did you say wizards?" the boy asked, his face skeptical, and glanced behind him quickly. Dumbledore was about to answer the question when a woman's voice shouted from inside. "Percy, who is at the door?" Probably his mother. The boy responded, "Some weirdos claiming to be wizards!" "Let them in," the voice said.
Perseus stepped aside, holding the door open, and gestured for us to go in. We walked in, taking in our surroundings. It was a nicely sized apartment, decorated with ocean blues and soft greys. A woman with brown hair and a nice smile walked out of the kitchen with an oven mitt and an apron on. "Hi, I'm Sally, Percy's mother, what did he do this time?"
"Hi there Sally, as I was telling Perseus earlier, I am Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. I have come from our school to collect Perseus if he does decide to attend our school." Her face looked shocked, but she was smiling. "Of course," she said, "Percy, what do you think?" I realized right then that I hadn't noticed when he sat down next to Lupin, and turned towards him to hear his answer.
"I'll go," he said, "It's not like I got anything better to do." He tried to look bored but I could tell he was slightly sad for some reason.
"Perfect! Why don't you pack and we'll be on our way Perseus?" Dumbledore suggested.
"Um, I just got back from summer camp, so I'm already packed, and please call me Percy." Perseus- no Percy- said.
Dumbledore stood up as Percy went to get his bag. We formed a circle and waited for Percy to come back. He had a backpack and a large duffel bag slung over a shoulder. Dumbledore grabbed his arm, and before he could say anything, we apparated away.
I'm back!! How did you like this chapter? Sorry it was kinda short but I needed to get it out of the way. I am going to update as soon as possible, and have a good day, or night! :)
