Seungmin woke up in the middle of the night, he immediately noticed the blanket and his gaze 2ent towards the front door. He saw Hyunjin's shoes and his jacket, so the boy immediately ran upstairs. Trying to be as silent as possible, he slowly opened the bedroom door. A smile formed on his lips as soon as he saw Jinnie sleeping in the bed. He really needed at least some kind of affection right now, even if it was just coming from sleeping Hyunjin. The boy slowly walked over to the bed and crawled under the blanket, he carefully lifted up Jinnie's arm and put it around his waist. Sadly the happiness Minnie felt didn't last long because Hyunjin woke up and not only pulled his arm away but also turned around so his back was facing the younger boy. Minnie immediately felt bad again but he accepted it and tried to go back to sleep.
When Hyunjin woke up the next morning he didn't try to be quiet as usual. He simply did everything he needed to do, not minding he woke up Seungmin. Hyunjin was dressed now so he went downstairs to make breakfast. Just as he finished eating Minnie waddled into the kitchen "G-good morning" he stuttered quietly. Hyunjin still didn't answer but he put another plate with food on the table for Seungmin to eat. "I'll be home late, don't wait for me. Lunch and dinner are in the fridge" it was the first time Seungmin heard the other's voice since the incident yesterday "Thank you" a soft smile formed on his lips as he was hoping for things to get better again now. The older one didn't say anything more and just left the house.
Minnie ate his breakfast but he was still tired so afterwards he went back to bed and slept for a little while longer. Once the boy woke up again he decided to prepare a little surprise for his master but he wasn't sure what he could do. Seungmin strolled through the house and hoped he'd find something that gives him an idea. When he walked in the kitchen he saw a picture he drew for Hyunjin. He remembered how happy his master was when Minnie gave him the drawing. "Maybe it will make him smile again" Seungmin whispered to himself when he decided to draw another picture. He quickly rushed to his room and prepared everything, now he just needed an idea on what to draw. It didn't take him long though, he wanted to draw a picture of Hyunjin and that's exactly what he did.
The drawing took him several hours and he didn't take a single break "It needs to be perfect for him" he thought to himself throughout the entire drawing session. The only time he took a break was when his hand started to hurt too much. It was already time to eat lunch so he went back downstairs and heated up the food Hyunjin prepared. Actually he wasn't allowed to eat anywhere but the kitchen without permission but he brought the food back to his room anyway. Seungmin didn't want to waste any time so once his hand didn't hurt as much anymore he continued drawing and simply took a bite of the food every now and then. However he soon regretted his decision because he spilled some of the food onto the almost finished drawing. He just stared at the stain for a couple of seconds "Oh no.." the boy was usually very emotional but now it's even worse so it didn't take him long until he started crying. "I just wanted to surprise him.. I can't do anything right. Why did I have to break a rule again?" only his sobs were heard when he brought his plate back downstairs.
"Maybe it's gone, when I look at it again" he whispered to himself and slowly walked back to his room but the stain was still there and like this the boy continued crying. He didn't have the motivation to start over again, actually he didn't have the motivation to do anything right now. Minnie was sad he spent almost five hours on a drawing just to accidentally destroy it. If it was a normal day he would call Hyunjin now but that wouldn't help with anything today. "He doesn't want to talk to me and if I told him he'd get mad because I broke a rule again" Seungmin was talking to his favorite plushies once again "I'm a stupid boy, master deserves someone better. I should just leave him, I won't be able to make him happy anyway" these thoughts wouldn't leave his head for the rest of the day. And no matter how hard he tried he couldn't fall asleep in the evening.
Hyunjin came home late at night, not knowing what has been going on the younger boy's mind. He actually just wanted to do what he always does after work, which was cleaning after his little one but as soon as he entered the kitchen he saw a plate of food that looked almost untouched on the table. His gaze narrowed a little bit and he walked to the fridge and opened it just to see the rest of the food he prepared for Seungmin being completely untouched. At the same time Minnie was still unable to fall asleep because his thoughts are being way too loud. Suddenly the bedroom door opened "Seungmin get up. Now." The younger boy flinched at the sudden noise and the anger that was clearly heard in Hyunjin's voice and he was quick to sit up in the bad. "Get out of the bed" the older one demanded as he made eye contact with Minnie. But Seungmin didn't follow his order "C-can I talk to you, m-master?" he tried to hold back his tears but it was none of a use as there was already a tear rolling down his cheek.
"No, you're not going to talk now" Hyunjin didn't hesitate and walked up to the other boy and dragged him out of the bed. Seungmin failed to balance himself and fell to the ground where he then completely broke down in tears. "Look at me!" Hyunjin tried his best not to yell but still sound demanding. Minnie looked up at him "After what you did two days ago, you think I'll be okay with you breaking one of the simplest rules?" Seungmin shook his head "S-sorry" he sobbed. "Stop crying I didn't even do anything to you" Hyunjin pulled him up so the younger boy would stand in front of him. He looked at the still crying boy's face "Please stop crying" his voice became soft "I shouldn't have treated you this way for the past few days" he caressed Minnie's cheek with one hand and also wiped away his tears "Let's talk things out, okay?"
