Early in Liyue Harbor, the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing woke with a start. She had another long day of work ahead of her, her main emotions of sleepiness and determination suddenly mixed in with vague feelings of longing and sadness. She didn't understand these feelings, and she probed her memory for anything that might have happened. Then she remembered the dream. An extremely handsome young man, with white and black clothes, an amazing blonde braid, and golden eyes she felt she could lose herself in. However, those golden eyes had locked away so much sadness, and she wanted to know why.

She wanted to take a day off to sort out her memories, because she couldn't work with a jumbled mind. She called her assistants and told them to fill in for her for the day. After that was done, she sat on her bed, thinking back on the dream. Keqing was not the type of girl to easily fall for someone, not especially after what she's been dealing with. She'd gotten tons of marriage offers, but she denied all of them. She knew that all of them had either wanted her status, her money, or both. None of them wanted to get to know Keqing, all they wanted to know was the Yuheng.

She hated it. However, the man in her dreams didn't seem to care about her status and money. He seemed to like her as a person, not as a title. She liked him back, as well. One thing, however. She didn't know his name! She would have to ask him next time they met. She really liked leaning into him, his shoulder being very warm. She wanted him to talk to her again, but about some happier time that he had. If he didn't have any happy memories, and his life was full of tragedy and sadness, she wanted to be the one to fix that. She wanted him to have great memories, of her and of his life.

After realising that it was lunchtime, she made some grilled tiger fish for herself. As she munched away, her mind wandered back to what the man had said. She remembered gripping his hand when he had trouble speaking, as support. She felt happy that she could support him and keep him going, and she knew he felt the same way. She threw her stick in the garbage, and returned home, her thoughts on the wonderful man she had met in her dreams, and when he would come and visit, if he would at all. "I'll be waiting." she thought to herself.
