Sometimes it's better not to feel, if you could choose,
Nor sight or hearing when meeting with bad news.
A spell under the wand of time beneath night's diamonds,
To summon mage's cloth and vanish on far-off islands,
Numb to all feelings and drowning in white silence.

Although you wish to scream your pain into the sky,
To voice the loss and ask the "why's" can't sleep or cry...
Dull ache without a scar as deep wound bleeding inside,
A piece of you forever gone for new world has been denied.

Hope slipping, broken under the fog that ties you blind,
Free of pain and suffering they leave just a void behind.
The little soul's last heart beats seeped by surprise,
Saying goodbye way before light touched his eyes.
Grief breaks you down chest feeling empty and hollow,
Tormented heart surrendering this life and you to follow.

Tiptoed quietly and stayed here only for a little while,
An angel came taking you by hand with  promised smile.
Although not once been held and now we're far apart,
The footprint you left behind will always be in our heart.
