The Next Day Pt. 2

I was very nervous but then when we started to walk to my table I was still freaking out because of what is happening right now, I wasn't supposed to be seeing them till 3 week's for my dads birthday but I guess it's going to be a lot more sooner than expected, I felt a hand on my lower back and that brought me out of my thinking, I looked to my left and I seen that it was Noah I smiled at him and then looked back at my family around the table, I didn't want everybody in this place to know how my mom and dad treat me but I guess they are going to find out how they treat me today, unless they won't in public anymore but I highly doubt if anything has changed. 

We started to walk to the table and that is when the table got quiet real quick, I have yet to look at my mom and dad but when I do they were looking at something confused then looked at me and they noticed that I was looking at them and they smiled and I could tell that it was forced but I just smiled back at them and then I felt the hand from my back disappear and a chair pulled out for me and seen Noah smiling at me I smiled back at him confused, why is he being so nice to me?

I sat down and my brother right away said 

J--"I sis I missed you" 

C--"Hi bub I missed you to" I smiled a genuine smile, he did too, then I seen Noah go up to my brother and bro hugged him then sat down beside of me and so I asked 

C--"So you guys know each other?" Noah said,

N--"Yeah we are good friends ever since college football season started" I just nodded then looked at my brother and say 

C--"You didn't have him hire me because I am your sister did you?" 

J--"No I didn't why would you think that" I was embarrassed for asking that because he knows what the real question was which was, did you have him hire me because no one else would, I said in a whisper-ish kind of way 

C--"Never mind" and then looked down at my tablet that I had in my hands and then looked over at Noah and asked 

C--"Would you like me to take notes during this?" 

N--"No we are just here to sign the paper's to sign the land over to me" I smiled then said 

C--"Okay" they signed the paper's then I seen a waitress come over to the table and looked at all of the men and my family then here eyes landed on me and I seen that it was my bully from high school and college, this is going to be a great meal.

Waitress--"Can I take everybody's order's, well all of yours?" I looked away from her and at everybody and I then heard everybody order there meals and then felt everybody looking at me and heard that bitch say 

Waitress--"Can I please take your order? or do you not want anything" I heard my mother giggle but she covered it with a cough I looked at everybody else and everybody but my dad was looking at my mom mad and then I said 

C--"A salad and a sweat tea with lemon, thanks" she just smirked and then walked away everybody went back to talking while I sat there silent looking down at the table trying not to cry, I was trying not to cry because of the memories that girl gave me and as you can tell they weren't good memories, I then felt a hand on my thigh and I tensed up because I knew it was Noah and I looked up after a couple of seconds and seen him looking at me concerned and I then looked around the table and seen my mom looking at me and I think she could tell his hand was on my leg but I didn't move it because he was comforting me and right now I needed it even if it unprofessional, we then all got our meals except for me by a completely different waitress and then I seen Kattie bitch from the past walked back out and then put down a double cheeseburger with extra fries on the side with BBQ sauce I was pissed because this was my comfort food when I used to get bullied, I clenched my hand into fist and then said 

C--"I didn't order this" 

Waitress--"Oh I know you didn't but if I remember this was your meal from freshman year of high school to senior year of college well except for that one year when you were almost dea-" I stopped her right there and said 

C--"I would like my order, thank you" 

Waitress--"No can do the cook is so overworked" I didn't say anything anymore because I know she wasn't going to do anything I asked so I looked down at the food in front of me my eyes watered but then looked back up not caring about if people seen my eye's and said 

C--"Okay well can I have a to go box please?" 

Waitress--"Yeah sure anything for you hefty Cal" I just looked back at the table and noticed everybody was looking at me and I just smiled and said 

C--"Sorry about that please continue" but nobody did except for my mom and dad talking to each other then I felt a hand on my back and I knew it was my brother and then I looked over at him and he said 

J--"Was that an old bully?" 

C--"Kattie her self, she's great isn't she?" he just frowned at me and so I said 

C--"Don't worry I'll be fine" he didn't look convinced but finished the evening anyways. 

C--"Bye sis, bub, mom, and dad" my sister and brother are the only one that said anything to me while my parent's just walked away from me and my brother gave me a knowing smile and I smiled back at him and said 

C--"I'll see you guys sometime" I smiled then turned when they started to walk away from me and walked with Noah to his car and he said when we started to drive to my apartment 

N--"I thought you were going to eat?" 

C--"I will when I get home I promise" I smiled and he smiled back and said 

N--"I am sorry also about putting my hand on your thigh I wasn't trying to be unprofessional, I was just trying to comfort you" 

C--"It is okay, it helped more then you know" I smiled then noticed we had just pulled up to my apartment and then said 

C--"Goodnight Noah see you at work tomorrow" "he smiled and said 

N--"See you" I walked all the way up and into my apartment and walked into the kitchen and threw away the meal that bitch replaced and went to the fridge and grabbed a water, banana, and strawberries and ate them then got ready for bed and went to bed ready to wake up for another day.
