It had taken them a second to recollect themselves. Whatever Caleb threw at them landed the band back into the route of all their problems; The Hollywood Ghost Club. The only difference was the outfits and hairstyles they now sported. For the first and only time in their life Sunset Curve looked formal much like they were going to prom over their usual style of teenage dirtbags and tired 90s fashion. And honestly, Nella didn't hate this look on them.
"Well, don't you look nice?" He tormented.
"Sweet threads. How... How'd you know our sizes?" Alex questioned
"That's your question?" Luke said through gritted teeth.
"I know you guys aren't my biggest fans. And an eternity at my club might seem overwhelming. But... I just put you in 'sweet threads', so humor me this one last pitch. Now, for starters, isn't it nice that you're all here together? And believe me, everything you want, including your little friends; Willie, Andy and Damon, they're all here. And on my stage, you don't vanish when the music stops. You soak in the applause for as long as you want. The connection that you will feel with that audience will be like no other. I promise." Caleb listed just as he was cut off by the cheering of the crowd.
"Oh! Shh. Do you hear that? They're waiting for you." Caleb backed up just as the band were shook by another jolt.
He faked winced at their condition, continuing to get ready for his performance, "That one looked like it hurt. Now, let me remind you, you don't know if playing the Orpheum is your unfinished business. Do you really have time to make that mistake? I suggest you accept my offer, because the clock is ticking." He took a drink off the tray that was offered to him faking a hurt expression when another jolt shocked was sent through them. "Ouch! You know where to find me."
