26|| First Week of Training

Start from the beginning

He stared at the dark sky, the galaxy once again painted into the canvas. He let out a sigh before he closed his eyes and crossed his arms beneath his head, letting the silence bring peace into his mind.

Bonk!

He shot up from the ground, his hand immediately cupping his aching forehead as he looked at the person behind him, eyes widening as it landed on bronze skin. The old lady furrowed her eyebrows as she swung her staff into Ranboo's side once more, making the other recoil and groan in pain.

"Did your parents ever tell you how bad it is to sleep in school?" She asked as she watched Ranboo slowly rise to his feet.

"You-You're human?" Ranboo stuttered as the lady nodded her head before approaching him with her huge staff.

"Is there a problem with that?" She asked as she pointed the bulb of her staff towards his face, making Ranboo put both of his hands up in surrender.

"No ma'am."

The staff then distanced itself from his nose to reveal the lady who's eyeing him from head to toe, checking his posture and his robes before turning around to leave, or so he thought.

She paused in her step and looked at him over her shoulder, "You just need to have sharp senses, you're doing good with fights."

In a flash, she swung her item once more. Sweeping Ranboo's legs leaving him on the floor, landing on his side.

This lady is too much, if she wasn't elderly, Ranboo would've asked to fight her.

"You're just slow."

He pushed himself up, opening his mouth only for it to be shut when she flopped in front of him with a small grin, amber brown eyes glistening with something mischievous that made Ranboo panic internally.

"Endermen have keen senses, something you don't have and I can help you with that."

"I don't even know your name"

"You can call me Nafas." Ranboo's eyes widened as he remembered the name of the person who has eyes and ears around the structure.

"You're–"

"Grandmaster, now go get up and eat. I'll meet you here tomorrow when the Morning Rays has flown" She said before walking away with her cane.

Morning Rays have flown before everyone is up and about. Ranboo let out a groan at the thought of waking up early for some additional training.

He then went to leave the graveyard when something swept his feet before he could even react. He landed on the stone floor with an 'oof'.

"Alright that's enough for today, go eat."

It was Elder Nafas again, appearing behind him to catch him off guard. Ranboo let out a frustrated groan as he brought his fist down on the solid floor.

He's aware that Endermen has spider senses but is knocking him down gonna do him good?! He's just getting hurt and if this kept up in the hallways during classes, he'll get humiliated because he just tripped on air.

He rose up to his feet, slightly irritated as he stomped out of the courtyard, aching stomach forcing him to walk to the dining room to eat.

When Elder Nafas said she'll help him sharpen his reaction time, he expected her to appear out of nowhere to swing her stick of death and strike him hard. Ziever was concerned by the random purple spots on his arms and legs but Ranboo reassured him that he was fine. Nobody was supposed to get bruised after classes and to see the prince with it after hearing the news of the A1 boy being hostile towards him, Ziever was worried.
