Rou sits in the small snowless area created by the fire, Gerheade flys down behind him, he doesn't notice until she jumps onto him
"Boo" he jumps a bit, smiling
"Hey Gerheade" he laughs, running his hand through her hair as she pulls her arms around him
"Hi" she murmurs burying her face in his neck

Rou laughs grabbing her and pulling her into his lap, kissing the top of her head while she giggled. She snuggled up to him and he wrapped his arms around her, she buried her face in his chest as he rubbed her arm, the warm fire projecting light that danced across the two

"Is Gloxinia gone?"
"No" he looks down surprised
"Really?"
"Mhm" she snuggled closer to him
"Shouldn't you be working then?!"
"Yep" the muffled word came out so casually that Rou almost couldn't believe he heard her right
"So you abandoned your job with the king just to..."
"Hang out with you? Yep"
"Why?"
"Because I love you" she looked up flashing a toothy grin, he laughed
"I knew that" he pulled her closer and she giggled "but you abandoned the king?"

"Yep!" He sighed leaning down and kissing her cheek
"You really are a piece of work"
