Ilrien Palace was as beautiful as Jong Seong and Sunghoon remembered it, with the cherry blossoms lining up the main courtyard, the buildings decorated with stones and the intimidating doors of the throne room with its gold and rubies never fails to blew their breath away.

And now it was even more beautiful from the way long curtains of every color hangs from the roof of the buildings to hide the courtyard from the sun creating a tent. Several servants and maids worked their way around in decorating some of the pillars, the others placing long tables with chairs for the visitors and the cooks hurried the deliveries to go at the backyard for the kitchens.

Sunoo and Geonu marvelled at how big a difference Ilrien had to Slovane, everything here seems richer and yes, more brighter as the tyranny of the disgraced Crown Prince faded from the scene.

A guard named Leeteuk who accompanied the four of them happily waved around to the busy people, as they weaved their way through the chaos of preparation.
Leeteuk said they were heading for the Princess's quarter when they were cut off by a cry of someone.

"I'm here!" They all turned around to see Y/N climbing down the stairs of the throne room, the four squire's world seemed to slow down at the sight of her wearing a very elegant dress and small crown on her braided hair.

"I'm so happy to see you all again!"

For a while, her face seems to glow bright when she smiles while running up to them in haste, the beauty of the place was lost because of her winning over everything else in their eyes.

She has changed, they realised. She is no longer their careless friend but a finely Princess yet they could still see her old self as she jumped up and hug Sunoo first without a warning.

"I miss you, my friends", she whispered closing her eyes in happiness, not noticing they nearly toppled if not for Jong Seong and Sunghoon guiding Sunoo back to his feet.

Geonu watched next to the two, glad that they reached Ilrien and the Princess.

"We did miss you as well. I mean, everyone did in Slovane", Sunoo says, patting the girl's back when her body started to shake. Her arms never leaving him as if scared they would disappear on her.

"The Prince sent us as messengers to see how you were doing", Sunghoon informs her, hesitating to get close and eyed the guard to signal to go away from this reunion. Leeteuk understands quickly and left.

"....and he is clearly suffering at your disappearance", Jong Seong butted in, stepping closer to Y/N and Sunoo, couldn't helping himself to join the hug.

Some of the staff had stopped working, looking at them with interest and returned to their work when one of the head servant called them out for laziness.

Seeing no one else is listening, Jong Seong turns to Y/N and whispers. "We were getting you back in Slovane"

When she hears it, Y/N scrambled out of the hug and she lookis at them with wide eyes - ruining the moment. "I can't. I musn't come back there", she said hurriedly in uncertainty.

The four squires frowned at this, exchanging glances to each other and back to her, their eyes were questioning of her 'why'.
