eli: hey we brought you some chinese food, where are you?
kayla: im hanging out with maya

I didn't want her to get mad at me for hanging out with kairi, plus this was just a one time thing.. even so.. I feel bad for lying

eli: I thought she was mad at you?
kayla: ah, yeah we worked things out

im so sorry eli

eli: oh I see.. i'll save your food in the mini fridge

I sighed and turned my phone off

jacob: why haven't you taken a bit out of your burger
kayla: oh! right!

I took a bite and all of the flavors exploded in my mouth, it was literally the best thing i've ever tasted

kayla: oh wow..

I took another bite

kayla: oh wow!
jacob: another customer hooked!
kairi: angel gave her more chicken! what the hell!
jacob: angel being angel

we kept eating and talking till we had finished and we were on our way back to the hotel

jacob: so dylan is your homeboy, yet you're helping out kairi?
kayla: ah.. well.. im being a little selfish if i'm being honest
jacob: what do you mean?
kayla: I just want eli to be happy, and I know that if she at least gets kairi back into her life, even just as friends, she'll finally be able to prosper and grow as a person. I guess i just want her to be successful without living with any regrets..
kairi: ..
jacob: that's some deep shit, you're a good friend
kayla: mm..

good friends don't lie though.. am I in the wrong here? i'm always sticking my nose in other peoples business.. I just wanna help..

kairi: hey uh.. can you give her the necklace for me?
kayla: ...what? no, you have to do that, that's the whole point
kairi: I don't think I can really face her though
kayla: well you have four days to grow some balls, after that, there's no going back
kairi: ...right

the car stopped and we had arrived at the hotel, jacob got out of the front seat and helped me out. I thanked kairi for the burger and then walked up to my room and walked in on eli and dylan cuddling. she quickly pushed dylan off of the bed and smiled at me

dylan: ow!
kayla: mans flew

I walked in and went over to the bathroom and when I came out dylan had left and eli was on her phone

eli: hey kayla...
kayla: hm?
eli: um.. did you have fun?
kayla: uh yeah I guess
eli: ah..

she seemed to have something on her mind, maybe she knew I was lying.. ugh I should've just told her, but would she have gotten mad?

kayla: spit it out
eli: what do you mean?
kayla: you obviously have something to say, so say it
eli: it's just.. when you texted me that you were with maya.. she was across the hall with leslie..

I froze

kayla: haa...

I sighed and turned around
