We finally settled down in a small booth by the corner.
This bar was huge. There was no way Dante was ever going to find me.
The handsome barista, Lee kept the drinks flowing as we let alcohol take control of our minds and bodies.
"You're a wild one." He commented, leaning back on his chair.
"False. I am not usually like this." I hiccuped.
He pushed a bottle of water in front of me. My eyes immediately watered.
Why can't Dante be this sweet?
Oh god. The emotional side of drunk Quincy.
"Who broke your heart, love? Maybe I can fix it." Lee smiled at me.
I contemplated. He could not fix it. However, maybe he can distract it for one night.
I closed my eyes and leaned in, giving him a feverishly kiss. His lips touched mine for a split second before Lee was ripped apart from me.
I groaned. Did he run away? I really thought he was into me.
However, when I opened my eyes to search for the barista, I was met with Dante's strong chest. He was breathing heavily, as if trying to contain uncontrollable anger.
Dante turned to face the shocked Lee.
"You're fired."
Lee and I stared at each other, baffled.
"What do you mean fired? You can't fire me man! Where is Mr Duvio?" Lee stuttered.
"I just bought the whole of Lux from Mr Duvio. So yes, I can fire you." Dante's cool eyes met Lee's panic ones.
"Get out of my club."
I saw Lee's figure slumped down as he turned to head for the door.
"No! Dante! You can't. Please. I'm sorry." I cried out, tugging at his shirt.
I could not bear to think that I was the reason someone got fired.
However, Dante ignored me as we stared at Lee being escorted out by the same security who he called friends.
Frustrated at the stoic man in front of me, I flipped the bird before storming off. I wanted to get out of here. Firstly, I didn't get as drunk as I wanted to. Secondly, I couldn't have the one night stand I was promised.
I was ready to go find Gillie and drag her back home with me to have a sleepover. However, I was stopped by a very thick and muscular arm.
"If you wanted to have a one night stand, you should have asked me." His husky voice surrounded me.
His grip around me tightened as he yanked me back into the booth. My eyes darted around, looking for help.
His hands roughly claims my thighs. All rational thoughts flew out of my head as his touch warms me up instantly. A wall of bodyguards formed in front of us, protecting us from the view of the other bar customers.
"Let go Mr De Luca. You cant do this." My lips quivered.
"Why not?" He ran the bridge of his nose against my neck.
