The final bell rang, and classes are done; I went to the locker to get my things when a peculiar thing is sparkling under one of the cubbyholes. I came closer to find out what was it when the most unlikeable person in the whole world approached me and said, "Hello President, how are you?" It was her. I didn't bother to answer; arrogantly she proceeded, "I heard that you needed budget for your ambitious and unrealistic arrangement for the prom, if you need a bag of loot I can ask my Daddy to donate, it's the least I can do to increase the reputation of this school." She ended her statement like she is the ultimate star of her own movie. The blond, wicked girl standing my way was the self-proclaimed most popular student in the whole school. I hated her, I never imagined myself in liking her; I answered her offer calmly, to show how civil I am "Look Sarah Jane McDiving, I don't care on how you see my idea for the ball, but the reputation of this school will not increase just because of your insincere donation." Her eyes grew bigger. As if her self-contained plastic bubble just popped, she replied angrily, "I don't think you understand me right, for the first time, I think that your proposal for the theme of the dance is good. I have a gown and a crown, I am royalty by blood just so you know, and I think it will be a lot of fun, so I don't mind giving something to have it done." She tossed her hair as if it was that beautiful, I stood there as the President, not as her enemy. I replied, "Well, just tell your dad that on behalf of the student community of the Northside, I thank him. " I made it a point to act like I didn't get my pride stepped on. Knowing that she got what she wanted, she left saying, "Good! Then, it's settled."
"Father!!!" I yelled as soon as I went home. He was sitting in his favorite chair looking at the sky. He looked iller than the last time I saw him sit in that chair. I wanted to notify him about the impression that I detest in having to the prince, but I decided to spare him the trouble and not add to the burdens he is now carrying in his shoulder. "How are you, my dear? How was the gathering? Father is sorry for not attending it." I kissed his forehead, "It was well father, and I had a good time. The king and higher-ups were impressed in my knowledge of the imperial status of the nation." He smiled. "How did you find the prince?" the question I hoped that would never be asked, I retorted, "Well Duke La March, he was okay. He did not act as a young man but a grown gentleman, I think he was joyful to meet his match in marriage." I lied. "That's good your highness. I have a clear conscience now. I just hope that the union of yours will be seen by me, knowing my current condition" I hated the thought of my only family leaving me, but the duke countered the statement he let go, "don't worry, my dear sweet child, father will be here as long as you need me." I smiled, but at the back of my head, very troubled. I don't know what will happen to my relationship with the prince, but I do hope that we can resolve that misunderstanding.
Early morning, I came for my royal gown dressing; I will be a monarch soon, and I hope that I can have the man's attention when he sees me in a stunning dress. "Good morning my Lady, Congratulations on your union with the prince" The person I am talking to is the top of the best tailors in the world. He knows the perfect suit or robe for any occasion at any place. He can determine it with a blink of the eye, and I hope that he can be of assistance as I please the prince with the dress he has chosen for me. "I am looking for something deviant but dazzling at the same time." He thought for an instant, and then walked to his secluded closet, and grabs the most bravura ball gown I had ever seen. "Nothing better for a royalty;" he turned me to the nearest mirror and held the dress in front of me. I feel so gracious just by the thought of me wearing the clothing. I replied, "This is marvelous! You're too kind sir;" I felt uplifted, but I can feel the wind in my head, and I hope that my pride would not get the best of me.
I had a rough but productive day today. I had some ups and downs. But I know when I am in my house, I am safe. I pushed the doors of my haven mildly when I heard someone yell, "Someone call heaven because an angel has come down from heaven." I heard my Dad's lame jokes as I step to the door. He came home, and as usual, a surprise homecoming. I am very proud to have him as my father. One of the reasons why I went to the Northside was because of our family history there. He was the president at his time and also the class valedictorian of his batch. I was happy to the thought of me continuing the family legacy. "Daddy! Where's my present?" I ran towards him with a big hug. "Right here," he pulled a sparkling object, it was a tiara. "I went to your grandma before coming here, she told me to give you this because it was her grandmas. It's a little piece of history in our family." I held it; it was heavy for an ordinary crown but looked more precious than gold. I thanked him as he then went to the kitchen; he then had a big grin on his face as if he had a wonderful idea. "So, who's coming for dinner?" He suggested, "Why don't we invite the Johnsons?"
