"How do I look?" Izaka played with his hair, wanting a good impression for the volleyball team. He had slicked it down, as if he were going to an advertising meeting.
"You look stupid." Cho pouted "Why do you want to impress them so much?"
"Well, they're really popular."
"That's all?" (Y/N) carried the small stack of notes for Suna. She could feel the air biting at her skin. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as they approached the gym doors. The sound of volleyballs slamming onto the ground.
"You sound like you're judging me Suga-san~" Izaka smirked.
"I am." She tried to open the doors, huffing softly. Izaka gently pushed her aside as he opened the doors to reveal the court. The team seemed to have stopped what they were doing and their gaze had looked to the doors. (Y/N) swallowed slightly, following Izaka into the gym.
"How can I help you three?" The coach walked towards them, clasping his hands together. "This is a closed practice."
(Y/N)'s eyes followed the ceiling of the gym, focusing on the gym itself. She had never been in the gym, she hadn't really been in this area since the beginning of first year. Izaka sighed softly at his daydreaming friend, his gaze looking to Cho, who cleared her throat. "Sorry for interrupting your practice, but we're just here to drop some homework off for Suna Rintaro."
The coach nodded, waving over the boy. "Where is it?"
Izaka nudged (Y/N), kicking her out of her trance. Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment. She bowed to the coach, offering the homework to him. "I'm so sorry for daydreaming. This is for Suna-san." The coach chuckled softly at the girl, taking the homework from her. (Y/N) stood up properly, crossing her arms over her stomach.
The coach handed the notes to Suna, who looked through the notes in annoyance. He quietly mumbled "Thank you."
The five of them stood there awkwardly. Izaka's gaze had immediately found the Miya twins, to which he waved to them slightly. (Y/N) stared at the floor of the gym, waiting for someone to break the silence.
"Well, thank you three for coming in and dropping off Suna's homework. You may leave." The coach finally broke the silence. (Y/N) and Cho both bowed to the coach, each grabbing a sleeve of Izaka's shirt as they began to drag him out of the gym.
"What are you two doing?" Izaka hissed.
"You weren't moving, and we're leaving now." Cho continued to drag the boy out the gym doors. (Y/N) glanced back into the gym, her eyes meeting the familiar brown eyes. The boy watched her leave the gym, sweat dripping down his face. Her cheeks reddened as the exited through the doors.
"Why did you drag me out?" Izaka hissed, pushing the two girls away from him.
"You would have stayed and gawked at the players!" Cho huffed, scruffing his hair. "Your hair was looking stupid too."
"No it didn't!" He tried to fix whatever could be salvaged. "(Y/N), my hair wasn't stupid, was it?"
"It was." She answered honestly, trying to cool herself down. It was so hot in there.
"Wait, are you blushing?" Cho's eyes widened, she began to poke at her friends cheeks.
"I am not!"
"Are too!" Cho smiled widely. "Are you embarrassed or..."
"I'm not embarrassed!"
"Whose the lucky boy?" Izaka smirked slightly, a coldness in his voice. (Y/N) playfully punched him.
"No one, I just recognised someone, that's all.."
"Oh my gosh, does our (Y/N) have a crush?" Cho teased. (Y/N) glared at her friends before she began to walk. "Wait, where are you going?"
"Home." She continued to walk, ignoring the two.
