Close Call

"Thank god! Here, you can come in."

Hange's POV

Y/n invited me in as i slowly handed her her phone. Quickly, y/n grabbed it and gave it a small hug. "You didn't do anything with it, did you?" Not knowing whether to tell the truth or not, i respond quickly, "Of course not! Well-" "What do you mean well?!" Slowly backing up towards the door, I see y/n glance at her phone seeing the missing calls from Armin.

Looking up at her furiously, I start sprinting towards the door before being grabbed by y/n, shivers running through my body. I slowly turned around, seeing that I had already been caught. "What all did you go through", Y/n said in a calmer voice. Not wanting to lie anymore I tell her the truth. "Not much, I swear! And sorry but my curiosity got the best of me. I only looked at snapchat, you contacts, and part of your, uhh," I took a short pause before saying, "diary-" Scared for what she'd do next, I slowly open my eyes to see her standing there shocked. "What was the last thing you said?" "your, uh, diary?" Not knowing whether she was mad, scared, or upset, i shake her slightly. "Y/n?"

Y/n's POV

My eyes start to fill with tears before i cover my mouth, not wanting to say anything. "Which parts did you read?" A short pause comes between us before Hange responds, " Part of the one about your past job.." Silence rose once again after she continues on, " You said you hadn't been think about that stuff, are you... telling the truth?"

"I was telling the truth, Hange, that stuff is old. I was worried you had read the most recent things.." Hoping she wasn't too curious about it, I looked up at her. "What did you write in the most recent things? It can't be that bad." Feeling my face start to heat up a little, I quickly look away trying to hide it. "Nothing important!" Knowing full well i had been writing about Hange, I tried to shake it off.

Hange lifted an eyebrow at me, then started to relax a little. "I guess I'll head out then. See you tomorrow y/n." As Hange was leaving, I wanted to stop them but didn't have the courage to.

I called Armin after I saw Hange's car drive off.

Armin: Y/n!! Oh, am I glad to see you! Are you okay?

Me: I'm perfectly fine, Armin. What did Hange tell you?

Armin: I think she was going through your phone, y/n.

Me: Yeah, I know.

Armin: Also, we think we know eachother from the library. Speaking of which, why weren't you there today?

Me: I, uh, fell asleep at Hange's place and didn't feel like going into work today.

Armin: Oooh, do you like her?!

Turning the camera away quickly,

Me: Well-

Armin: Oooh!!! Y/n!! Why didn't you tell me sooner?!

Me: I'm only now realizing it! And you didn't even let me finish talking

Armin: I'm so happy for you y/n!! She probably likes you too!

Me: I doubt it, Armin, what about you? Do you like anyone

This time, he was the one to turn the camera away

Armin: Maybe I do, maybe I don't. You'll never know.

Me: Ooh What's their name? He or she?!

Armin: What do you mean "He or She"?!

Me: We both know you're a bit fruity, Armin

After laughing to myself for a few minutes he texts me saying
