Hanges POV

I started looking at each date and reading what she had wrote down. As I read each paragraph, my heart started to shatter. Had y/n been... suicidal? She told me she hadn't been thinking about that stuff. Why would she lie? Reading about how much she hated her last job, a text from someone named Armin, interrupted my thoughts.

Y/n? Why aren't you at the library
today? :((

Not knowing whether I should respond or not, I ignore the message. Another message pops up a few minutes later.
Armin🏝🦕
Y/n? Are you ignoring me?
It says you read my message

I was about to respond when this armin person started calling. Panicking, i was going to hit the decline button but accidentally hit the accept one.

Armin: Hello? Wait- Who are you?! You aren't Y/n?!!

Me: Uhh Hello, I'm Hange, A friend of y/n- she left her phone in my car and I accidentally hit the accept button-

Armin: Do i know you? You look familiar

Me: Now that I think about it, I think i know you too, but from where..

Armin: Oh yeah! You come to Willow Tree Library a lot right?

Me: Yeah, maybe that's how we know eachother

Armin: Why do you have y/n's phone again? You said she accidentally left it with you? How could you read my message? Are you going through her phone?!?!

Me: Uhhh *call ended*

I quickly put the phone down and hear Armin calling again. 'What do i do?! I can't call her and i don't know where her apartment is! She said it was near a gas station, right? That gas station was near Tyler's diner, i think. I'll head there and look for apartments!'

I quickly get in my car and start heading for the diner.

I pull into the parking lot at the gas station and start looking around. Spotting buildings that I think are apartments, I drive to them, y/n's phone in my hand.

I get inside the building and ask the desk lady if there's anyone named f/n L/n lived there. "Floor 4, room 14" She says in a bored tone. Going to y/n's room, i close out all the apps I had gone through to erase proof I looked through it.

I reach y/n's floor and hesitantly knock on the door. A few moments later, a panicked y/n answers the door. Her expression changed from worried to relived once she saw me.

"Thank god! Here, you can come in."
