9 The Dream of the Girl.

Even with all the courage and strength of the world, Juliette was not able to focus in anything. Everything near her seemed evil, bad, wrong, and even inhuman. The tree behind her was all wet and made Juliette move awkwardly so she wouldn't hurt her back, it was enough to be near Pan. She hated him, she couldn't stand being so close to him, after everything that has happened to her in that place.

Pan was just staring at her, hoping that Juliette would listen to him, he was practically begging her with his eyes. Pan didn't move, he knew that Juliette was afraid and that invading her personal space was not a wise decision.

"Don't come any closer!" Juliette said.

"Juliette, please, listen to me." Pan said, showing whatever was left of his humanity.

"Why would I? You are a liar!"

"Please, I give you my word, every word that comes from lips are true."

This is just a trick. He wants me to believe him?

Juliette fixed what was left of her school's uniform, she moved her hair away from her face, and finally grabbed the perfect weapon for self-defense. A rock, with the shape of the point of an arrow, big enough for her to use it in a fight.

"Fine, you get any closer and I give you my word that I will fucking kill you." Juliette threatened.

Pan relaxed his arms but stayed alert for Juliette, he had no idea what The Dark Forest did to her.

"You have been here for two days, that's it. Two days."

"LIAR! You said no lies." She yelled to him.

"I am telling you the truth! Please, trust in me." He said, taking a step closer to her, making her react not in the best way.

"I said stay back." Juliette needed to calm down, she knew that. But how could she?

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I swear that I am telling you the truth. Remember what I told you?"

"Those lies about you and Neverland, such a nice place to visit, don't you think?"

"I was not lying to you. You are the true Lost Girl. You are meant to be here, in Neverland." He said, not showing a bit of hesitation. He was telling the truth, Juliette knew that. Either he was telling the truth, or he was a good liar, a psychopath perhaps.

"Then, why did you bring me here? You know what this place makes to people. You said yourself the first time I came here, "Don't go to the Dark Forest." Why? Why did you sent me here?"

Pan's faced turned pale, he had no answer to that. Even Shadow's test was not this awful.

"I have no excuse for that, but it was the only way to prove that you were the one--"

"Don't you dare Peter Pan! Breaking me this way, it's not human, this is--"

"This is what? Enlighten me! What is this?" Pan said, raising his voice and walking towards Juliette, not caring about her weapon, "What am I?"

"This is madness, and you are a bloody demon. I should have never trusted in you."

"But you did! Why? If you knew what was going to happen, why did you accepted to come?"

Because I had a dream the other night, were you and I were together. Happy.

"Because I wanted to scape! And when you mentioned Collin... It was the perfect opportunity." she said it fast enough for her to believe it.

"That is not the truth, you cannot lie to me Juliette. Now, go to sleep." Pan said, the he moved his left hand with a green glow right in front of her faced, then Juliette closed her eyes and fell to his arms.
