Harry: It was a dark winter night on your fifth anniversary. Harry had taken you to your favorite restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was delicious, as usual. It wasn't until desert that Harry fished into his pocket and pulled out a black box. You grew nervous as he handed it over the table to you. You lifted the lid to find a pair of earrings that you had been wanting for weeks. You loved them, of course, but you did feel a bit disappointed. Harry had told you years before that he didn't want to date someone too long before he proposed and as the years flew by, you began to worry that Harry didn't want to marry you. Either way, you thanked him sweetly for the earrings before putting them on. He smiled across the table at you, something in his eyes that you hadn't seen in a while. You dismissed the feeling though and soon, Harry was leading you out of the restaurant toward the car. But instead of heading home, he pulled onto a backroad. "Harry, where are we going?" you asked. He just smiled. "You'll see." The snow was lightly falling onto the ground and soon, you felt the car slowing. He hopped out once it stopped and pulled you out of the car. Now, you understood why he had told you to wear boots. Without a word, he pulled you through the forest. As you walked, it began to look familiar to you. But it wasn't until you felt the bridge under your feet that you remembered. "Hey, I used to come here when I was little," you said quietly. The water under the small bridge was frozen over but you looked anyway. You could see it flowing under the ice and you remembered when you used to play in the water when you were younger. You looked over at Harry but he wasn't smiling anymore. He looked nervous. "Do remember this place?" he asked. You nodded. "Yeah, I just told you-" "No, other than that." His words seemed to be slurring clumsily. You couldn't think with the way he was acting so you just shook your head. "This is where we first met," he clarrified. "Remember? You were sitting on the edge and when you jumped, I thought you had gotten hurt so I jumped in after you." You looked over the edge, remembering. "Oh yeah. How could I forget? You looked like a baby Tarzan when you-" You couldn't finish. You had turned to look at him again but you didn't find him at first. Then, your eyes adverted to the ground where your boyfriend stood, on one knee with nervous, shaking hands holding up a small black box. Inside, you could see a diamond ring between the red felt. Your hand was at your mouth before you could stop it but you were hanging onto every one of Harry's words. "You know, I've been waiting to do this for like three months," he said, his voice breaking. You stood in front of him, one hand in your hair and the other over your gaping mouth. "(Y/N), I love you. I can't wait another year and I promised I'd do this within five years. I wanted to last year. I even had a ring and everything. But I couldn't do it. But there was no way I wasn't going to this year." Harry had tears in his eyes but you could hardly see them through your own. "I love you more than anything. So (Y/N), will you marry me?" For a few seconds, the sounds of the words made you shutter with tears of joy. You couldn't speak so you just frantically nodded your head before you collapsed onto him, not even giving him time to put the ring on. He was laughing and so were you but the tears just refused to stop. You tore yourself away from him and sat on the bridge while he put the ring on your finger and at the sight, you started cry all over again.
Liam: Liam had insisted you come to an interview with the boys one afternoon. Reluctantly, you went because you didn't want to disappoint him. You sat in a chair backstage while the boys joked and laughed behind you. You were flipping through Twitter when you heard many of the staff members talking about a special surprise for their viewers. You shook it off, figuring they'd make the boys do something unusual for the interview. Anything for ratings. It was five minutes to show when Liam came and stood next to you. He looked unusually nervous and you tried to calm him by saying, "The staff's been saying they have a surprise for the audience." This only made him worse. "Did you hear what the surprise was?" he asked urgently. You shook your head. "No but my guess it that they'll have you guys suck helium like that one radio host by the judge of the balloons everywhere." He nodded and looked ahead, his hands in his pockets. Before you could reassure him anymore, he was being pulled on stage by a smiling Harry. The other three boys walked quickly behind and entered the stage when their name was called. Alan Carr hugged them all as he usually did, asking them if they wanted drinks or anything special. After five minutes of introduction, the guys started talking about their latest album. Alan seemed very excited over it being released and as usual, he brought up Harry's pussy joke, getting a large laugh from the crowd. You were lost in Twitter when you heard your name on the screen showing the stage. You quickly focused on it to find Alan asking Liam about you. Liam was blushing but the words seemed to come easy to him. "How long have you been together now, Liam?" Alan asked, crossing his legs. "Oh, almost five years," he answered quickly. "Oh really? Well I guess it's about time then, wouldn't you say?" You were confused as Liam and the boys all nodded at the same time. Suddenly, you were being pulled from your chair as you heard Alan say "Well bring her on out then!" You felt as if your stomach had flipped as the man lead you to the door leading to the stage. He waved you outside and you had no choice but to walk onto stage. What the hell is this? you thought. But you didn't have chance to think. Once you hit the stage, Liam hit his knees and already had the box in his hands. The boys watched, all smiles and Alan let out a little squeal like he'd just had a heard attack. The crowd went crazy but you hardly heard any of them. Liam didn't seem to be able to talk. You could tell he was nervous but he was hiding it well. Over the screams and the excited yells from the boys on stage, you heard him say, "(Y/N), will you marry me?" He had hardly gotten the words out before you nodded, unable to cry at the moment. You were too happy. He didn't even put the ring on your finger. He lifted you up into his arms and spinned you around as Alan cut to commercial.
