Sage slept soundly through the night, only waking up once because Bulstrode's snoring was incessant. The next morning she awoke with a long stretch, a smile adorned her face which made Pansy's drop. "Please don't tell me you forgave him".
"I didn't explicitly forgive him I just maybe... fucked him" Sage grimaced. "Sage!" Pansy groaned as she threw her tie towards her best friend. "I'm sorry it was just the heat of the moment!" Sage tried to redeem herself as she put her shoes on.
"What he did was not okay" Pansy scoffed as they began the walk to the great hall. "I know, really. I just have... needs, ok?" Sage sighed, causing her raven haired best friend to gag. "Yeah needs that have been thoroughly sated by the way you're wobbling about" she laughed.
"What? I am not wobbling about" Sage scoffed. "And why would we be wobbling about?" Draco's voice came from behind Sage before his long arm was slung around her shoulder. "I just pulled something in my leg" Sage shrugged, shooting Pansy a look that screamed 'keep your mouth shut', if the girl even knew what that meant.
"What is this I hear? time for Blaise carriage?" Blaise grinned as he loomed over Sage. "Noo, Blaise, no!" Sage shrieked as she tried to run away from the cackling boy, only to be caught up in his long arms and slung over his shoulder. "I can walk Blaise!" Sage laughed as she hit his back, feeling sick from the way he was walking, her stomach being pushed into his shoulder.
"You said you hurt your leg" Blaise said blandly. "Yes but I am very much capable of walking" Sage laughed as she slapped Blaise's behind. "Ooh, peachy" she laughed. "Such a weirdo" Blaise smirked before he sat Sage down at the Slytherin table.
"You guys done being freaks?" Draco tried to bite back his smile as he took a seat beside Blaise, Pansy now beside Sage which was their usual seating arrangement. "Are they ever?" Pansy winked, causing Sage to roll her eyes.
Sage could feel the burning sensation of a stare, causing her to turn to the other side of the Great Hall. Fred was glaring at the back of Blaise's head, not even noticing Sage's gaze on him as he clenched his jaw, hand tight around his goblet.
"Sage!" Blaise snapped her out of eyeing the clearly angered red head. "Sorry what?" she shook her head, ridding the thoughts of reasons why he could possibly be mad.
Maybe he had meant to be scowling at her but had a... lazy eye?
Maybe Blaise had... said something to him?
'Or maybe that's just his resting bitch face Sage, stop overthinking everything' was her last thought before her attention was bought back to her friends.
"We said, are you going to the party tonight?" Draco said suspiciously, eyeing her zoned out expression. "Oh I didn't even know there was one, which house?" Sage asked as she popped a piece of Pansy's orange in her mouth, much to Pansy's dismay.
"Gryffindor" Draco grimaced as if the word was actually sour on his tongue. "And you're going?" Sage asked, clearly noting Malfoy's distaste for the house. "Yeah" he shrugged, much to Sage's surprise - he had never gone to a Gryffindor party before.
"Wonder why" Blaise nudged Draco with a grin on his face. "Shut up" the platinum haired boy grumbled as he looked down at his plate. "Ahh, so Draco's mystery girl is from Gryffindor" Sage stated with a smirk on her face. Malfoy shot Blaise a look that read 'I'm going to kill you'.
"Okay, if you don't want me to know so much, I'll drop it" Sage rolled her eyes as she took yet another orange piece, leaving Pansy grumbling beside her; something along the lines of 'get your own' and 'always stealing my food'.
