Miles...Miles....Miles.

I shook my head.

Miles was a jerk. He hated me, and he was always very rude to me. He called me mean names, and honestly he wasn't fun to be around.

But he was funny, very funny. And flirty. But he flirted with everyone.

I sighed.

"What's wrong, Amy?" Marie asked as we walked down the hallway.

"Nothing," I lied.

"Haha wait a minute, " Marie laughed.

"What?" I asked smiling.

"You like-" Marie began but Stormy ran past us crying.

  "Stormy?" We both cried out.

She ran into the bathroom, and we followed her.

"Stay away!" Stormy screamed as she covered her face.

"No! Stormy what's wrong?" Marie yelled.

"H-he cuts..." she hiccuped, as she uncovered her face.

  "What? David?" I asked.

"Yes! He told me that one day, b - but then he promised he would never do it again," she cried, "but when he took off his hoodie. There were cuts all over,"

   "Oh no," Marie whispered.

"I can't do this. He can't. He said he sometimes wants to kill himself and die, " she cried.

I hugged her and rubbed my hand on her back.

"It's going to be okay," I whispered.

"Harder," Claire laughed as Chase shoved the pencil in the pencil sharpner.

    Chase laughed.

"You guys sound like y'all are doing something weird over there," Charlie laughed.

"We aren't though, not yet anyway," Chase said winking at Claire.

  "Eww!" Liz giggled.

Claire blushed.

Chase fake moaned.

"Oh my gosh! Eww!" Liz said loudly.

"Hey listen, um Chase?" Claire hesitated, biting her lip.

  "Yeah?" Chase asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me."

*****

I sprinted down the hallway.

Where are you David? Where?

I ran faster and faster.

I didn't even notice that I wasn't alone until I felt someone grab my wrist.

  "Ouch!" I hissed.

"Shh! Be quiet," the person whispered pulling me into the supply closet.

  "What the-" I began.

"Hey," Miles said to me as he turned on the light.

  "What the heck?" I asked.

He smiled.

"So, I was wondering if you were going to ask me to the dance," he mumbled.
