TW: Mentions of family death.

"Oh George!"

I chased him through the thick, dark forest. The grass was cruncing beneath our steps as he sprinted away from me. He didn't speak in response to my taunt, instead making strangled shrieking noises. He was outgeared, and Nick and Bad were surely both far away.

"C'mere George!" I grinned maniacally, thwacking him once with my diamond axe. He screamed even louder - that must have hurt.

But suddenly, I was on fire and down 4 hearts.

"What the-"

"Hey, Dream!" Nick laughed, holding an enchanted bow on a tree nearby.

"Wh- where'd you get a flame bow!?" I asked, quickly turning to run away instead.

"Oh Dream!" Bad teased, ignoring my question.

I sprinted off in one direction, the way I knew the stronghold was. Since I had been ready for the End, I had decided to kill George to cripple the other team before I left the Overworld. But clearly, that was a poor idea, since now I was being chased.

I got hit with another arrow - 2 hearts left. I put the fire out with a water bucket and left the stream to slow them down, but as I was a few blocks away, my heart sank. The stronghold was in a ravine, and I don't remember there being any water at the bottom.

As I approached it, I formed a plan. I had one more water bucket in my inventory. If I could just grab it in time, I'd be safe.

Another arrow whizzed by me as I jumped, trying to open my inventory in midair but-

Dream hit the ground too hard

"Let's go!" Nick celebrated.

"Nice job, guys!" Bad said happily.

I slammed my desk, the sound surely peaking my microphone audio.

Bad tisked. "C'mon Clay, don't smash your desk."

"Yeah, smash George instead," Nick added.

"What-"

Nick was giggling like an idiot as his own joke while George and I were both sputtering, embarrased.

"Wait, I need to cut that out of the recording."

"Oops," Nick said, still giggling. "I forgot we're recording."

I ended the recording and put it away on my computer to be edited later. Though I'd only made 2 videos before, editing was easily the most painful part.

"Well, that was fun, guys." When nobody else responded, I said, "Uh... George, you wanna call?"

"Sure."

"In that case, Bad and I will go do other things," Nick said in mock-offense.

"Don't be like that, Nick," Bad said. "You guys have fun!"

And with that, we all started leaving the Discord call. I quickly went to my phone, however, and flopped back on my bed, picking up my cat and placing her nearby. Then, I called George.

I smiled widely as my boyfriend's face lit up on my phone screen. Patches, who was cuddled up next to my head, was also excited to see him, looking at the screen intently.

"Clay!" he greeted, making a kissing face.

"Gogy!" I responded.

"How are you, my beloved?"

"I'm pretty good. I like calling with you."

"I like calling you too."

"That was fun, huh?" I commented after a moment. "What do you think of this whole YouTuber thing?"
