THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Demitri was walking towards the second floor, to his bedroom after working his ass off to find who was behind the shooting that took place a few hours ago, when he heard soft faint sounds coming from the music room, when he reached, he found none other than his sister playing the piano.

She had her eyes shut tight and looked so engrossed in it, as if she was feeling some emotions through the notes she was playing. It looked as if she was trapped in the song itself.

(A/N: it's Who Knew by Pink)

"You took my hand
You showed me how
You promised me you'd be around
Uh-huh, that's right

I took your words and I believed
In everything, you said to me
Yeah, huh, that's right

If someone said three years from now
You'd be long gone
I'd stand up and punch them out
'Cause they're all wrong
I know better
'Cause you said forever and ever
Who knew?

Remember when we were such fools
And so convinced and just too cool
Oh, no
No, no

I wish I could touch you again
I wish I could still call you friend
I'd give anything

When someone said count your blessings now
'Fore they're long gone
I guess I just didn't know how
I was all wrong
They knew better
Still you said forever and ever
Who knew?

Yeah, yeah
I'll keep you locked in my head
Until we meet again
Until we, until we meet again
And I won't forget you my friend
What happened?

If someone said three years from now
You'd be long gone
I'd stand up and punch them out
'Cause they're all wrong and"

Artemis took a long pause and let out a heavy breath. It looked as if she was processing something, she was feeling a lot of emotions at the moment.

"That last kiss
I'll cherish
Until we meet again
And time makes
It harder
I wish I could remember

But I keep
Your memory
You visit me in my sleep
My darling
Who knew?

My darling
My darling
Who knew?
My darling
I miss you
My darling
Who knew?

Who knew?"

Demitri leaned on the door frame as he saw his sister finish the song with an ending note. Her eyes were still shut, her head bent, her fingers still on the keyboard, streams of tears had long made their way out of her eyes.

A few minutes later, her eyes shuttered open only to widen when they met with Demitri's green one's.

ARTEMIS'S POV.

I wish it was me instead of you that day.

You promised to come back to me, safe.

You broke your promise. You broke it.

You said you'd be there for me.

My fingers trace the tattoo on my hand, remembering the events of that dreadful day.
