His Favorite Girl[A Justin Bieber Love Story]

Chapter 6

Justin led me to where his crew was. Justin ran in, out of breath. Scooter looked up, infuriated.

"Dude! where were you bro?! You were supposed to be on 15 minutes ago!" Scooter yelled in Justin's face. Justin looked down on the ground, mortified. I decided to do a really nice thing.

"I-it was my fault, I bumped into him and kept interrogating him, you know how crazy fans are," I said, trying to make it sound realistic. I took a quick glance at Justin. He was looking at me with an "are you crazy?" expression. Hey, maybe I was. Scooter was silent, like he was thinking on who to yell at. He took a quick breath and spoke.

'Alright. Justin, you better have your ass on stage in 5 seconds or..." Justin was already running toward the stage, mic in hand. He stole one quick glance at me and smiled. I smiled back, then he was gone. Gawd, do I have feelings for him or not?! I totally just did a really nice thing for him just now. Even if I did have feelings for him, he wouldn't like me. I mean, come on, Justin Bieber? Liking me? Definitely not. He'd much rather go out with a celebrity. Someone like Selena Gomez for example. She is way more prettier and cooler then me, and she can sing. I mean, I can sing, but not as good as the pros. But guess what? I don't care. I hate Justin Bieber. I came out of my trance when Scooter tapped me on the shoulder.

"So, one quick question, who are you?" He said, politely. I gave him a polite smile.

"My name's Maddie Baker. I'm 15 years old," I answered. "Umm, I'm gonna head back to my seat, my friend is probably worried. Nice meeting you guys," I said and left backstage toward a freaking out Alex.

I felt like I was dreaming. Running into Justin Bieber? How cliche does that sound? I felt bad that I totally walked out on them so quickly. I quietly walked back to my seat and sat down. Alex practically strangled me in a hug.

"Where the hell were you?! You've been gone for like, a half hour!" She said hysterically. I told her I just got lost. She brought her attention back on Justin on stage. He started talking to the audience.

"Sorry guys, I bumped into someone new, you know who you are." A slight blush spread across my face. Ugh, all this blushing, it could only mean one thing. "And I would love it if you and your friend met me backstage after the show." I blinked a few times, my mouth going dry. He wants me to do what?! Alex turned to me.

"OMG! I wish that were us, Maddie!" I just smiled and nodded. Justin started singing "Love Me." Wow, to tell you the truth, he wasn't that bad. By the end of the song, I was actually standing. Not going crazy like Alex and everyone else, but it was a start. When he was done, he started speaking again.

"That song was dedicated to my new friend," he said, looking at me. "And by the way, thanks for saving my butt back there." I couldn't help but giggle.

"You're welcome," I murmured to myself. Unfortunately, I was too loud; Alex heard me.

"Ohmygod, you're the girl?!" She screamed excitedly. I slowly nodded my head. Alex squealed in delight.

"I'm gonna meet Justin Bieber!" She screamed.

I looked up at Justin as he sang 'Baby', his closing song. He just so happened to steal a quick glance back at me. He smiled and winked at me. I mouthed "Try harder," earning a quiet laugh that only I could hear. As he finished, the crowd went wild.

"Tonight was amazing, guys! I love you all!" And don't forget, I still want to see that one special girl backstage. Goodnight Westwood!" Justin exited the stage, going backstage. The lights turned back on and girls were chatting about the concert. Alex turned to me.

"SPILL!" She exclaimed, bouncing on her heels. I told her everything: how we met, and how I MAYBE forming feelings for him.

"OMG! Finally! I knew you would eventually!" She hugged me tightly. "Well, we need to go! He's waiting!" She let go of me and started walking towards backstage. The same butterflies came to my stomach at the thought of Justin again. We entered and instantly I found Justin, lazily sitting on the couch with a bottled water. I smiled meekly and waved. He jumped off the couch and and ran toward me. He did a really unexpected thing. He hugged me. Again, the fluttering feeling came back. I hugged him back.

"Hey Shawty! I knew you'd come! Scooter insisted on leaving but I told him no," He said all in one breath. I giggled.

"I never caught your name," He said. Right! Wow, I'm dumb. I mentally slapped my forehead.

"I'm Madeline Baker. But you can call me Maddie," I said, sticking out my hand.

"That's a pretty name," He commented, shaking my head. Forgetting Alex was next to me, I introduced her.

"This is my best friend Alex." Alex stood there, starstruck. Justin approached herand gave her a hug. She hugged him back enthusiastically. Justin turned to his friends.

"Yo, Ryan, Chaz, get over here," Justin called. The boys dropped their Xbox controllers and walked over to where me Alex and Justin were.

"Maddie, Alex, these are my best friends Ryan and Chaz." Ryan went up to Alex and hugged her. She blushed uncontrollably. Justin turned back to me and smiled.

"Come here," he mouthed and walked toward the couch. My conscience told me to go, but I wanted to stay. I can't have feelings for him. I hate Justin. But, I found myself walking towards him. Justin smiled when I approached him. His smile is breath-taking. Justin patted the spot next to him on the couch, signaling for me to sit. I crossed my eyes and shook my head. He wasn't getting me to like him that easily, he'll have to try harder.

"You know, you'll have to try harder to win me over," I told him, smirking. He just chuckled, shaking his head.

"Alright, so let the games begin," He responded, laughing. I ended up laughing with him. He pulled out his iPhone. He started typing and laughing.

"What are you doing?" I asked, curiously looking over his shoulder.

"Tweeting," He replied simply. "It better not be bad," I said, worried that he was making fun of me or something.

"It's not bad," He replied. "Here, you can read it if you want." He handed me his phone and I read the most recent tweet.

Hangin with special girl. Luv her already. She's hilarious.#Goodtimes

I smiled on instinct. But I wiped it away before he noticed. Fortunately, he didn't. I tossed him back his phone.

"Keep trying, Bieber," I said, walking away. Before I could get very far, he grabbed my wrist. I instantly felt the sparks.

"Hey Maddie, wait." He stopped me and looked me in the eyes. Oh boy.

"Yeah?" I said, anxious on what he was going to say.

"Could I get your number, you know, so we can plan how we are going to commence operation Fall For Bieber." I couldn't help but notice a light blush run across Justin's face. I smiled.

"Of course Justin," I said, pulling out my phone. We swapped numbers and I slipped my phone back into my pocket.

"Well, I better get going, Alex's mom is probably worried." I looked toward Alex, who was chatting animatedly with Ryan. Well, there's a future relationship right there. Justin stood up and embraced me in a tight hug. Okay, I'm getting pretty tired of these dang butterflies.

"I'll text you later, bye Shawty," he whispered in my ears, sending shivers through my body.

"Bye Bieber," I whispered back. I walked toward Alex, who was saying bye to Ryan and trading numbers. I said bye to him and Chaz, who was still playing Xbox. Me and Alex were soon out in the chilly night air, waiting for our ride. I tried to get my mind on my warm comfy bed, but all I thought about was Justin. Great.
