"hi jodi," janet says to jodi as she walks into the kitchen.
"heyy," jodi said looking around for you.
"oh umm y/n isn't here right now she picked up a few more hours at work," janet told her noticing the way she was looking around.
jodi looked at her confused, "huh. i wasn't even looking for her"
"ooookay" janet said not believing her.
"janet i'm serious. how many people think i have a crush on y/n?" jodi asked.
"that's way too many people, the better question is how many people don't know" janet laughed.
"well all of y'all need to learn what having a crush on someone is because i don't have one on y/n," jodi said.
"jodi it's so obvious, the way you look at her, the touching you do, and the prolonged eye contact" janet said.
"yeah, i don't what your talking about" jodi shrugged.
"soo i decided not to do extra hours. work is hard" you walked into the kitchen. "oh hey jodi" you smile at her.
jodi turned around to face you, "oh hi y/n. you look cute"
"thanks" you blush before walking over to hug her, then you walked to your room to change.
"okay maybe i do have a small crush," jodi said to janet once she was sure you were out of hearing distance.
"oh, so you finally noticed" janet playfully rolls her eyes.
